Research on Chinese phonetic string segmentation of sentential input

Syncopation of Chinese phonetic string is the basis of Chinese Sentential Input. The traditional matching algorithm of phonetic string only brings one segmentation result and thus leads to the incomplete containing of the ambiguous results and the failure of the phonetic string conversion. The paper raised a improved method for the syncopation of Chinese phonetic string. By adopting a Bidirectional Maximum Matching algorithm and combining the syncopation rules of double vowels, we are able to preserve all the disambiguity possibilities during the phonetic syncopation which would participate in the competition for the optimal sentence candidate, so that we can ensure the correctness of the conversion of Chinese phonetic string.

A practical algorithm for image spherical surfacing and its implementation on Symbian platform

The custom-features have been more and more incorporated in mobile phones nowadays, and displaying a personalized image on a mobile phone becomes a trend along with the advancement of entertaining functions being embedded. In this paper, an alternative spherical surfacing algorithm is proposed, and its mathematical modeling is built, the mapping function and interpolation are derived. The proposed spherical surfacing technique is implemented on Symbian platform with a given image on mobile phone, indicating the effectiveness of the algorithm developed. Brief discussions are made in the end of this paper.

A Tibetan input method based on MTK for mobile phone

The current input methods of Tibetan on mobile phone are almost non-intelligent with slow development. Most of them have the defects of unsightly font, complex operation and low efficiency. In order to solve these problems, a new Tibetan intelligent input method is proposed and we implement this design in MTK mobile phone platform. This input method adopts new system architecture and intelligent search algorithms, so the whole input system reaches a higher height in search efficiency and humanity.

Content-based cache tactic design and implementation on mobile Widget engine

The content-based cache algorithm design and implementation of Widget engine on mobile intelligent terminal are presented. This algorithm intelligently downloads and stores the network data, and properly arranges various mobile Widgets network datum by applying the technology on the internal storage and cache. According to the customers visiting information, and using the theory of the technology of the mobile Widget, a simple and feasible caching refreshing algorithm is designed to make the best use of cache space to achieve the better performance of the system. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm is verified and its advantages are testified by the experiment.

Study on optimization of applications based on Symbian platform

Mobile platforms have the resource-constrained characteristic, demanding to optimize the program to make up for the relative lack of resources. In this paper, using Symbian C++ as the development language, mainly optimize the code side and display side for the Symbian platform applications. Experimental results show that the technique improves efficiency and user experience degree.

Key technology research on adaptation layer of android platform

In this paper, a new way transplant applications of J2ME to android through create adaptation layer is proposed, for common way has many shortcomings, such as low efficiency, division of labor not easy and less code reuse. The experimental results shows that the new way can transplant J2ME applications to Android efficiently and it can solve the division of labor and the code reuse problems.

Algorithm of 3D display interface switching based on J2ME platform

3D display applications are among focal topics in the field of the mobile communication, In order to transplant a variety of 3D display technologies[1] to the real-time uses based on the existing widely used mobile platforms, in this paper we propose a good 3D flip algorithm that can be utilized on the J2ME platform[2]–[4]. The principle of 3D flip algorithm is derived for display interface using mathematical model[3] and a mapping function about 3D switching the image is thus obtained. We have also analyzed and discussed some problems with the algorithm. Tests show that the proposed algorithm works well on the J2ME platform.
