Although studies show that torque and sensation are important factors to consider in grip force, there appears to be few frameworks that focus on their roles in pinch force. This study proposes a framework that potentially explains the roles of torque and sensation in pinch force. A review was done on these factors followed by a literature synthesis which categorised them into sub-factors. The sub-factors were combined to output a framework that explains the mechanisms of their interactions. This framework enriches the knowledge on pinch force levels for reduced injury risks by identifying preliminary factors that may influence pinch force. It can potentially be used to improve the effectiveness of manufacturing tasks. Although further research on it is required, it still provides researchers with more factors to consider for studies on occupational risks and injuries. With this framework, researchers can potentially improve predictions on functional outcomes in precision manufacturing tasks.

Honey products have been developing from health supplements field to economic development field. There are numerous of explanations when it comes to exploring the factors that influence consumers to consume honey products. The portrayal of honey congregated importance ever since it has been commonly used in both medical and domestic needs and as well as beauty needs. In peoples’ perspective, the quality of the product will be the key success factor of honey product where industries of honey maker faced challenges for making and maintaining as well as preserving of honey products. With the increasing market size and the increasing consumer demand each year, honey makers have to search for new approaches and to learn to understand the consumers’ need in order to increase their product satisfaction and customers’ loyalty. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that will influence consumers’ purchase intention of honey related products. To facilitate this study, both quantitative and qualitative methods have been employed to gather the data. 200 questionnaires were collected. It was found that Medical condition, Quality of product, Brand Reputation and Pricing do influence the purchase intentions.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the influence of Spiritual Intelligence to transformational leadership style displayed by student leaders. Students are the future leaders in organizations, be it in the public or the private sector. During the years spent at the institutions of higher learning, students will be able to learn and experience many types of leadership either through their own capacity as the leader or as a team member. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed to students. The students that participated in this study were from many parts of the world. It was found that correlation exist between Spiritual Intelligence and Transformational Leadership style displayed by the students. However, most of their coefficients indicate a moderate degree of strength. It is through group activities that students develop their leadership skills. As such, coordinators of these activities need to guide and nurture the leadership skills of the students.

An engineer can be an entrepreneur. The engineer has all the technical knowledge to build and design. The purpose of this study is to analyse the influence of Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence on Innovation. A total of 88 successful entrepreneurs from Malaysia participated in this study. The GENOS Emotional Intelligence questionnaire and Spiritual Intelligence (Integrated Spiritual Intelligence Scale) was used in the study. It was found that Spiritual Intelligence influences 99.8% of the variations in Innovations of the entrepreneurs.

This study aims to innovate and validate the design of a non-electric hearing aid for improved usability. Studies on conventional and existing hearing aids were carried out before the actual study on developing this non-electric hearing aid was done. The final product underwent a series of evaluations in order to verify its viability and usability. Conceptualisation, material selections and concept selections were carried out in order to select the most appropriate concept for this study. The material selection process ensures that the choice of material is appropriate for the specific requirements of the components to be achieved. Subsequently, a detailed cost analysis was carried out to ensure that the manufactured product would be affordable to the customers. Several experiments and tests were performed to evaluate the product’s performance. Although a validated prototype for a non-electric hearing aid is in hand, future improvements on the fabricated product are still needed in order to ready the product for its future commercialisation phase.
