Numerical models of a graphene coaxial line

Pavel Fiala; Miloslav Steinbauer; T. Kriz; Jiří Maxa

The aim of this paper is to present novel research in special numerical models of a coaxial line used for nanoelectronics. These models can be advantageously utilized in the evaluation of electromagnetic parameters, thus helping researchers and designers to solve problems related to nanoelectronics, sensors, and related components. The first of the models of a large periodic structure is designed to test electromagnetic wave propagation within a coaxial line based on a graphene composite. According to the interpretation of the results, basic design changes will be prepared for experimental fabrication of a functional sample. In the described context, the authors also introduce the results of a numerical analysis of the investigated simple nanoelectric line.

Finite Element Model of Discharging and Temperature Field of the Lithium Ion Battery

Petr Vyroubal; Tomáš Kazda; Jiří Maxa

This paper deals with a possibility of numerical simulation of temperature profile by discharging of li-ion battery. The numerical model was prepared using SolidWorks and ANSYS Fluent software and it was compared by real measurement using electrical impedance spectroscopy and thermocamera imaging. The simulation was realised as transient real-time.

Selection of PDM Information System

Jiří Maxa; Vilém Neděla

Technologies of the Electronics Product Definition - EPD, Product Data Management - PDM and Product Lifecycle Management - PLM represent modern trends in the field of Technical Production Planning and a new quality in this sector. Efficiency of utilization of these technologies for specific manufacturing companies depends materially on correct selection of the system and correct user adaptation of the purchased technologies. The main problem in CR is that the companies do not have adequate knowledge of the issue and therefore the conceptual system of selection does not exist here. And this is why the situation of selection is based as follows: The company addresses the supply house with unclear requirements, is unable to be adequately depth-oriented and selection of the system is in principle carried out by the addressed supply house which results in the danger that the company introduces an expensive system not quite conforming to its character. Instead of the awaited effect the total costs continue rising materially. The methodology of selection of the PDM system should be designed so that the whole process of selection is managed by the company itself and is modified precisely to its requirements. This is the very topic of this paper.
