Information and communication technologies are the one of the key factors connecting technological progress and the globalization process in creating the knowledge-based economy, as well as in the context of enterprise development. Information and communication technologies are crucially important in achieving the concept of efficient knowledge management in enterprise. One of the main roles of information technology in knowledge management is to support the process of knowledge transfer and creation. These technologies also help the processes of collecting and organizing the knowledge in order to make this knowledge available for all potential users. This paper presents a general concept of information and communication technologies supporting knowledge management with the use of some fuzzy sets theory.

Nowadays, the enterprises are searching for competitive advantage concerning quality of products, application of modern information and telecommunication technologies (ICT), implementation of modern concepts and tools of management as well as proper support of decision making process. To achieve this, enterprises need to possess the ability of the knowledge potential proper usage because widely understood enterprise’s development is connected both with the permanent wining, transformation and usage of knowledge and information. This approach allow for the enterprises transformation into the knowledge-based enterprise. The goal of this paper is to determine a fuzzy sets theory to the decision making process for the knowledge-based enterprise management which allows to involve human experience into the process of strategic choice.

The goal of the paper is to present research results concerning the future of Macroergonomic Manufacturing Systems (MMS). This research were based on an expert version of Delphi method and fuzzy set applications. Modern Macroergonomic Manufacturing Systems are based on industrial work model which started at the end of nineteenth century. In this model enterprises work on the principles of tasks repeatability and their perfectionism. The workers in a frame of Macroergonomic Manufacturing System, they are still doing the same with the highest efficiency and productivity. The development of automation and robotics based on the rules of Artificial Intelligence will lead to a change in this classic model in the future. The future of Macroergonomic Manufacturing Systems is associated with a positive cooperation scenario of human natural intelligence with the “machining” Artificial Intelligence. In the model of the future, the enterprises will have to swear that the purpose of Macroergonomic Manufacturing Systems functioning is lasting and development. Current profit as a means of achieving this purpose will be replaced by the desire to have the best, professional and creative staff, empowered as well as identifying with the enterprise’s goals.
