NMR evidence for localized moments in CoAl

Abstract The temperature dependence of the nuclear T 1 of 27 Al in CoAl shows a deviation from the Korringa relation. According to the work of Giovannini and Heeger this is suggestive of the presence of localized magnetic moments.

Nuclear-spin-lattice relaxation of 51V in V-Fe Alloys☆

Abstract The 51 V nuclear T 1 has been measured up to V-40 at.% Fe. The composition dependence of the relaxation rate closely resembles the term linear in temperature in the low temperature specific heat and shows a second peak near 34 at.% Fe.
