Appendix I-3. Methodology: Sources of Data, Sampling Design, and Other Methodological Problems

An Intensive Survey of the family planning knowledge and practice of married women 20-39 in Taichung Taiwan was conducted before the official family planning program started in February 1963. This Survey was to be used as a basis for later ns. e methodology for sampling and data collection in these surveys is explained. Limitations of the data and sampling errors are mentioned. Questionnaires for the original survey included ms on demographic socioeconomic and family structure characteristics as well as knowledge attitude and practice questions. data is explained. An appendix includes the entire questionnaire.
