Poduzeca moraju neprestano povecavati svoju ekonomiju. Jedan od nacina stjecanja nadmoci nad konkurencijom je analiza i optimizacija toka materijala, sto doprinosi smanjenju troskova. Tok materijala u proizvodnoj organizaciji govori nam mnogo o organizaciji sustava. Kljucne rijeci: analiza toka materijala; industrija motornih vozila; logistika poduzeca; optimizacija; program internog prijevoza

The paper demonstrates a topographic inspection in the specific context of three kinds of inspection methods of austenitic stainless steel welds. Visual and metrological inspection was analysed during tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding tests, showing the non-destructive techniques: X-ray, computed tomography, and surface profilometry. The article is a response to the lack of information, especially in the area of non-destructive techniques suitable for wide practical application. The Paper presents advantages and drawbacks of the analysed diagnostic methods and a classification of conventional and specific welded joint flaws. The most important defect in practical applications determining reliability of a welded joint is cracks. This kind of diagnostic is based on the obtained information about anisotropic and inhomogeneous volume under consideration in the heat-affected zone of a weld.

Although increasing numbers of research papers regarding biochar are being published worldwide, in some countries growing interest in biochar has only recently been observed; this is true of Poland. We analysed information on biochar research in Poland alongside lessons learned elsewhere in order to identify the significant opportunities and risks associated with biochar use. This data fed into a GIS-based multicriteria analysis to identify areas where biochar application could deliver greatest benefit. We found that 21.8% of agricultural land in Poland has at least moderate indication for biochar use (soil organic matter below 2% and pH below 5.5), while 1.5% was categorized as a priority as it also exhibited contamination. Potential barriers identified included biomass availability and associated risks of indirect land-use change due to possible national and transnational biomass production displacement. Biochar use could have positive global consequences as a climate change mitigation strategy, particularly relevant in a country with limited alternatives. Scaling up a mitigation technology that is viable on account of its co-benefits might be cost-effective, which could, in turn, adjust national perspectives and stronger involvement in developing mitigation policies at the regional level. Biochar has much promise in temperate conditions and further research should therefore be assigned to explore biochar’s environmental and socio-economic impacts.

Materials Flow Analysis in the Production Process - Case Study

Stanislaw Legutko; Jolanta B. Krolczyk; Ewelina Tama

The paper presents an analysis of the materials flow in the company on the example of the production process of the selected product. The analysis was carried out in three stages. This division has enabled to take into account many factors that have a significant impact on the internal transport during production. The first step in the analysis was to determine the current situation of the flow of materials. In the second stage, the obtained data were used to develop a detailed program of internal transport, associated with the production of the considered product, and the last stage of the analysis was to identify opportunities for rationalization actions. The rationalization concerned the machine tools spatial location, the choice of handling equipment and transport tasks.

This article deals with measurement of the thermal gradient on material during abrasive water jet cutting. The temperature was measured by thermo camera before the technological process started, during the AWJ cutting process technology, and just after the cutting process. We performed measurements on several types of materials. We calculated the approximate amount of energy during the AWJ cutting process technology that changes into thermo energy, which is the current water pressure drained in a catcher tank.

Mixing of Biomass and Coal in a Static Mixer as an Example of Technological Solutions Involving Implementation of Renewable Energy Sources

Jolanta B. Krolczyk; Andrzej Rezwiakow; Marek Tukiendorf

Abstract The purpose of this article is to demonstrate possibilities of mixing coal with biomass using static mixers. The paper present simple and inexpensive methods for producing fuel mixes for heat-generating plants equipped with stoker-fired boilers of power ranging from 3 up to 50 MW. Static mixer proposed in this article may constitute an alternative for currently used solutions in production facility. Based on statistical analysis, the article demonstrates that five mixing elements of the mixer is optimal number to ensure best biomass (chips and pellets) concentration distribution in a mixture with fine hard coal.

Dynamic Balancing of the Threshing Drum in Combine Harvesters – The Process, Sources of Imbalance and Negative Impact of Mechanical Vibrations

Jolanta B. Krolczyk; Stanislaw Legutko

The purpose of this article is to present the description of the process of the dynamic balancing of threshing drum in combine harvesters as well as the sources of imbalance. The dynamic balancing analysis was carried out in production facility on dynamic balancing machine. Dynamic balancing of slats of the combine harvester threshing drum was determined by reference to the specified mass dynamic unbalance. The article also presents the influence of unbalanced machine elements on the human body.

Industrial Conditions of the Granular Material Manufacturing Process

Jolanta B. Krolczyk

The article presents industrial conditions of manufacturing multi-component heterogeneous mixtures of granular materials. The study analyzed the production technology and devices used for production such as storage siloes, an impact screen, a cyclone separator, a shaving and dust extractor, a screw mixer, a tensometric weigh, a bucket conveyor. A division and the successive stages of manufacturing process has been presented: unloading, receipt and storage of raw materials, quality control of components, technology cleaning and sorting of raw materials, dosage and mixing of feed material, bagging, storage, extraction processes and evaluation of homogeneity in a fodder mixing plant. Moreover the methods of assessing the homogeneity of the multi-component heterogeneous mixtures has been presented. The research was conducted in industrial conditions.

Homogeneity assessment of multi-element heterogeneous granular mixtures by using Multivariate Analysis of Variance

Jolanta B. Krolczyk

Procjena homogenosti heterogene zrnate mjesavine s vise sastojaka primjenom multivarijantne analize variance Izvorni znanstveni clanak Rad se bavi analizom homogenosti heterogenih zrnatih smjesa s vise sastojaka. Kljucne rijeci: kontrola kvalitete; optimizacija; postupak mijesanja; procjena homogenosti; vertikalni mikser
