Analysis of Texture Evolution of Torsion-Reverse Torsion of Copper Rods

The texture evolution of torsion-reverse torsion copper rods was studied along with rate sensitivity (RS) model and Renouard-Wintenberger (RW) model. The calculated textures at zero net shear strain using initially random texture and deformed texture show complete restoration in the RW and RS model. The measured texture at zero net shear strain shows mainly original component and the residual texture of {110} , due to dynamic recrystallization. The recrystallization texture of torsion-reverse torsion copper rods shows the same texture component of uni-directionally twisted copper rods, which represents that the shear strain affects recrystallization absolutely in nature.
