University-enterprise cooperation for talent development: The case of supervised internship in a Brazilian engineering university

The university-enterprise connection has been growing in importance over the years. Also, the supervised internship, fulfilled during undergraduate course, is mandatory in several careers, according to Brazilian law, and is considered one of the forms of cooperation between universities and enterprises. In the present study, considering that this interaction between the academic world and the corporate world is beneficial for both sides, it is sought to verify how the students of a Brazilian federal public education institution have been evaluated according to behavioral aspects, knowledge and commitment by the granting companies. The objective is to know the strengths and weaknesses to feed the process of modernization of education. It can be noticed that, in general, the students were well evaluated, indicating the value of the training obtained in the studied institution, although is possible to do diverse improvements.

PERCEPCIÓN DE LOS CONSUMIDORES DE LA REGIÓN METROPOLITANA DE RÍO DE JANEIRO ACERCA DE CERVEZAS ARTESANALES Y SUS ATRIBUTOS

The present work aims to investigate the perception of the consumers of Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro (Brasil) about the attributes of craft beers in the local market. This research has an exploratory nature and an applied and qualitative approach. Regarding the data collection, a semi-structured questionnaire was used in a sample of the population. In the results we identified the perception about the importance and the strategic differential of each attribute of the beers listed. We also evaluated the quality of the Lager, Ale and Weiss varieties, as well as the analysis of the most consumed beers.

REDUCCIÓN DE LA NO CONFORMIDAD COMO LA PLANIFICACIÓN PARA MEJORAR EL RENDIMIENTO EN UNA FÁBRICA EN EL ESTADO DE RIO DE JANEIRO

The objective of this article is to identify the failures in the manufacturing process, allowing the programming of performance improvements. The study is descriptive through a case study, at a cable industry that faces a growing number of production failures, which creates significant damage to the company. The research uses the Ishikawa diagram and the 5w2h tool to qualify and quantify the data in order to assess the impact generated by manufacturing defects. After the definition of the causes directly related to the cases of nonconformity, a study of the factors associated with them and the possible corrections or actions to be adopted in a plan of action were elaborated
