Teoria crítica em estudos organizacionais no Brasil: o estado da arte

Toda a producao academica e, necessariamente, o resultado de uma producao coletiva. O autor expressa, de forma organizada e sistematizada, a partir de reflexoes e pesquisas, aquilo que foi produzido social e historicamente. Assim, ao escrever na primeira pessoa do singular, procedimento que nao costumo adotar, nao pretendo negar esse fato, mas apenas assumir inteiramente a responsabilidade pelo texto; ou seja, falo por mim. O que escreverei aqui e a minha avaliacao, fruto de mais de 30 anos de estudos e pesquisas nessa area. Por isso, ainda que muitas das concepcoes sejam originarias de outras reflexoes, apenas em casos extremamente necessarios, quando a autoria da concepcao nao for de dominio publico, farei referencia a bibliografia.

Saúde mental no trabalho: contradições e limites

RESUMO: Ao longo do desenvolvimento do capitalismo, a concepcao do que seja a saude do trabalhador modificouse, passando do patamar da ‘preocupacao com a sobrevivencia do corpo’ para a ‘preocupacao com a saude mental do trabalhador’. A gestao da saude foi sendo incorporada as novas formas de gestao dos empreendimentos capitalistas, mas a despeito disso, o sofrimento no trabalho continua, expresso em manifestacoes como estresse, fadiga cronica, burnout, DORT etc. Este artigo busca identificar e analisar, atraves de um estudo de caso, as contradicoes existentes acerca das estrategias organizacionais adotadas sobre Saude Mental no Trabalho, tendo como referencia a percepcao dos trabalhadores. Os resultados mostraram que os programas de saude sao baseados em intervencoes pontuais, paliativas e estao relacionados ao sistema de controle da organizacao atuando em cima dos efeitos da organizacao do trabalho, nao se baseando numa real preocupacao com a saude do trabalhador. Consciência crítica com ciência idealista: paradoxos da redução sociológica na fenomenologia de Guerreiro Ramos

The purpose of this paper is to work out a critical investigation of Guerreiro Ramos conception in the organizational studies from its best known, consulted and referred contributions, aiming to understand his bedding and entailing, with the objective of defending the thesis that the critical analysis of Guerreiro Ramos do not authorize us to include him or to consider him as an adherent researcher to the Critical Theory. The critical positions of Guerreiro Ramos, as it will be shown, are based especially in his reflections about Husserls phenomenology. To defend the thesis proposed, the analysis will be carried out based on the Critical Theory point of view. This study is organized in three parts. In the first one, it will deal with the conceptual contours of what one understands as Critical Theory and phenomenology. In the second part, it will display the proposal of the sociological reduction formulated by Guerreiro Ramos, added to his critique of Brazilian Sociology and the proposal of a new science of organizations. In the third part, a critical and objective analysis of the conception of Guerreiro Ramos will be done, based on a methodological position that integrates the meaning of the mentioned referenced books here criticized in the facts, taking into consideration the meaning of his intellectual production and the relation with his existential situation.

Burocracia como organização, poder e controle

The main objective of this work is to analyze the way in which Mauricio Tragtenberg and Fernando Claudio Prestes Motta conceived bureaucracy. The specific objectives are: to understand the main characteristics of bureaucracy according to Weber, the author who has most influence on the work of Tragtenberg and Prestes Motta, to arrive at an understanding of bureaucracy as expressed in the work of Tragtenberg, to learn how bureaucracy is understood in the work of Prestes Motta and to analyze the relationships that exist between the understanding of bureaucracy in Tragtenberg and Prestes Motta. In analyzing the authors consideration was given to their concept of bureaucracy, their intellectual trajectory, the order of their production, epistemologies, space and historical time, the semantic, ideological and cultural dimension and questions that are important for an understanding of the theoretical development of the concept. The conclusion was reached that, despite the differences in the intellectual paths of Tragtenberg and Prestes Motta, bureaucracy is understood by both as being organization, power and control.

Controle por resultados no local de trabalho: dissonâncias entre o prescrito e o real

This article analyses the type of social control, in function of results that can be encountered in working relations today. Analyses were done from the point of view of four psycho-sociological instances related: mythical instance, social-historical instance, organizational instance and group instance. The methodological choice intended to analyze a theoretical matrix developed in Brazil and an international industry was chosen. Administrative contradictions, generated from conflicts during working relations, were observed. Data does not show a democratic firm environment, but an atmosphere of strongly controlled freedom. By departing from these indicators it will be possible to gather elements to find innovative solutions enhancing quality in the firms management and in the relationship with employee. For both, management and employees, the common goal is to face through success and good strategies the challenging global economy.

Dialética Negativa e a Tradição Epistemológica nos Estudos Organizacionais

A primazia do objeto e condicao fundamental de compreensao da realidade para a dialetica negativa proposta por Adorno. Este ensaio tem como objetivo principal apresentar a Dialetica Negativa como metodo de reflexao, bem como suas eventuais contribuicoes para os Estudos Organizacionais. Para isto, sera necessario verificar como a Dialetica Negativa se apresenta como um “atentado” contra a tradicao; como o cognoscivel e construido na relacao objeto ‹–› sujeito ‹–› objeto pelo principio da nao-identidade; como a aparencia e a contradicao sao elementos de recusa a uma totalidade definitiva; como o conceito, enquanto elaboracao do pensamento, e as categorias, enquanto modo de apreensao do real pelo pensamento, sao elementos constitutivos da formacao da realidade; e como se formam os sistemas totalitarios. Com isto, sera possivel verificar como a construcao do entendimento ocorre por meio de construcoes afirmativas contrarias a Dialetica Negativa, que se fi rma com base no principio da nao-identidade. Tambem sera possivel compreender como os chamados Estudos Organizacionais em geral se caracterizam por concepcoes epistemologicas que podem ser fontes inesgotaveis de analise sob a perspectiva da Dialetica Negativa.

O problema dos mais novos: um estudo de caso sobre o conflito de gerações na linha de produção de uma montadora automotiva da Região Metropolitana de Curitiba

This research presents the results and discussion of a case study in depth in which it sought to identify and analyze the evaluations of the production line workers of a company in the automotive sector, here named Gama, relative to its context, the experiences of pleasure and suffering and the costs and damages arising from the work. In this research it was possible to identify differences in the ratings between groups of workers of different ages and times. The analysis is based on the theory of Political Economy of Power to review the management and control technologies that make up the work, and the context of the Psychodynamics of the Work, to analyze the dynamics of grief, endurance, pleasure and illness of workers entered in this context. The research techniques used were of nature Qualitative-Quantitative, from the systematic observation and interviews, as well as through the application of the Inventory of Work and Risks of Illness – IWRI.

Autogestão, economia solidária e organização coletivista de produção associada: em direção ao rigor conceitual

Conceptual accuracy is a fundamental element in scientific activity. The concept is an abstract representation of reality, allowing to identify the same or similar phenomena, as well as to distinguish different phenomena. This article aims to distinguish the well-established concept of self-management - especially in its social dimension - from management experiences with self-management features and recognized under the concept of Collectivist Organizations of Joint Production - OCPA. In other words, under capitalism, the so-called self-managed enterprises do not constitute self-management. They can be considered as OCPA, which have characteristics of self-managed organizations and present themselves as forms of resistance or alternative models to the system of capital. Social self-management or collectivist organizations formed by producers in association are neither related to a new economy nor to a solidarity economy. Self-management has a social dimension and can only exist in self-managed production units when the social system is self-managed. These organizations with self-management characteristics are related to collectivist management of labor. Under capitalism, some organizations may have, predominantly, self-management characteristics. These organizations are conceptualized here as Collectivist Organizations of Joint Production, and, because they are inserted into the logic of capital, they act as units in the system of capital.

Este artigo apresenta resultados e discussao de um estudo de caso em profundidade em que se buscou identificar e analisar as avaliacoes dos trabalhadores da linha de producao de uma empresa do setor automotivo, aqui denominada Gama, em relacao ao seu contexto de trabalho, as vivencias de prazer e sofrimento e os custos e danos decorrentes do trabalho. Nesta pesquisa foi possivel identificar diferencas nas avaliacoes entre grupos de trabalhadores de diferentes idades e tempos de empresa. Fundamenta-se a analise na teoria da Economia Politica do Poder para analisar as tecnologias de gestao e controle que compoe o contexto de trabalho e na da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, para analisar a dinâmica do sofrimento, resistencia, prazer e adoecimento dos trabalhadores inseridos neste contexto. As tecnicas de pesquisa utilizadas foram de natureza “quali-quanti”, a partir da observacao sistematica e de entrevistas, bem como por meio da aplicacao do Inventario de Trabalho e Riscos de Adoecimento – ITRA.
