Del castigo a la humanización. Adolescentes en centros de justicia juvenil: percepciones y reflexiones

espanolEl presente trabajo pretende aproximar la perspectiva de los Adolescentes en Conflicto con la Ley (en adelante ACL) sobre su proceso reeducativo y de paulatina recuperacion de la libertad. ?Existe algun contexto para el aprendizaje mas complejo que el de una institucion que limita las libertades? Este trabajo proyecta que los contextos basados en metodologias de acompanamiento humano, vinculacion afectiva y socioeducativa, constituyen verdaderos espacios de transformacion y de empoderamiento de los ACL. Eleva la importancia del principio de resocializacion en la recuperacion de habitos prosociales de los delincuentes juveniles. Este articulo reproduce los resultados de una investigacion longitudinal en la que participaron 157 ACL ingresados entre los anos 2008 a 2012 en distintos centros publicos de Justicia Penal juvenil. El principio de resocializacion del ACL nace al albor de estrategias para la transformacion y aprendizaje desde contextos inclusivos. Por tanto, los recursos personales y ambientales, se fusionan en un proceso de intercambio que incide en la reflexion del individuo. Las vivencias de los ACL convergen con las practicas educativas recibidas. La tecnica etnografica del relato de vida nos traslada al imaginario analitico de los ACL. EnglishThis article seeks to bring the perspective of Adolescents in Conflict with the Law (hereinafter ACL) to the process of their re-education and their gradual regaining of freedom. Can there be a more complex context for learning than a custodial institution? This article suggests that contexts based on human accompaniment methodologies, emotional and socio-educational bonding, are true spaces for ACL transformation and empowerment. It highlights the principle of resocialization in the recovery of prosocial habits in juvenile delinquents. The article presents the results of a longitudinal research project involving 157 ACLs residing in different public criminal justice juvenile centres. The principle of the resocialization of ACLs was born when strategies aimed at transformation and learning in inclusive contexts began to appear. Therefore, personal and environmental resources merge in a process of exchange that has an influence on the individual’s reflection. The experiences of the ACLs converge with the educational practices received. The ethnographic technique known as “life story” sheds light on the analytic imaginary of ACLs.

Competencias de investigación en estudiantes y estudios Universitarios de Trabajo Social en España

This document analyses the acquisition of research skills on the Degree in Social Work of the University of Valencia (Spain). Changes in the new social order mean that the methods and techniques that guide the actions of university graduates have to be constantly updated. Social changes allow new methods and techniques applied for college students. The present investigation compares the research and intervention skills of students on the fourth and final year of the Degree in Social Work with those of social work graduate professionals undergoing retraining on, for the purposes of planning the degree update course. The reliability of the results validated using the test-retest method, whereby a practical workshop was held in which the improvements in the students’ skills in designing social research projects could be observed. The conclusions highlight the importance of social research projects for social work professionals and the need to generate highly reliable diagnoses for intervention to be effective.
