Abstract The effects are examined on standard model predictions of ϵ′ which are generated by electromagnetism and by isospin breaking due to quark mass differences. Such corrections are potentially important because the first-order result is strongly suppressed by the ΔI = 1 2 rule. A factor of two or three reduction is found in the predicted value of ϵ′/ϵ.

Abstract. We review the electroweak charged and neutral currents in the non-commutative standard model (NCSM) and compute the Higgs and Yukawa parts of the NCSM action. With the aim to make the NCSM accessible to phenomenological considerations, all relevant expressions are given in terms of physical fields, and Feynman rules are provided.

Abstract. This paper is a direct extension of our earlier work on electroweak currents and the Higgs sector in the standard model on non-commutative space-time, now with strong interactions included. Apart from the non-commutative corrections to standard model strong interactions, several new interactions appear. The most interesting ones are gluonic interactions with the electroweak sector. They are elaborated here in detail and the Feynman rules for interactions up to

Abstract We present the rate for b→ sψ into longitudinal and transverse modes of ψ and discuss the b→ sγ transition. We estimate B→K ψ and K ∗ ψ rates based on form factor evaluation and find them in agreement with experiment. We then estimate B → K ∗ γ from vector mesons to photon transitions, and comment on a possible puzzle.

Abstract In the QCD corrected weak hamiltonian, the leading terms in the large- N c limit give a reasonable description of D→ K π decays and good values of K → ππ decay amplitudes.
