The tuberculous tenosynovitis of the hand is an uncommon condition.Early diagnosis is important because this condition has a slow and progressively destructive process.In this report we describe two cases and review the available literature.

The Experience of Microsurgery

We tried the reattachment of the amputated finger with handling microscope in 14 cases of complete and incomplete ones.Results were satisfactory in 11 cases and failure in 3 cases.We tried Arterio-Venus Shunt with the vein graft, because of the failure in vein suture at D. I. P. Joint of the amputated finger in spite of success in the anastomosis of digital artery.We used the anticoagulant for two weeks but had no secondary reaction.Angio graphy of 20 normal hands were performed.Proper volar digital artery discussed in diameter.

Replantation of Complete Amputation of the Right Forearm An Unsuccessful Case Report

50-year-old woman, was brought to the hospital on September 17, 1973, along with her severed right forearm which had been completely amputated by machine approximately 30 minutes prior to admission.Replantation was performed by bone fixation, arterial and vein anastomosis, nerve suture, tendon and muscle suture and skin covering.On the 14th postoperative day, reconstructed radial artery occured rupture. Ruptured radial artery was restored with autovein-graft immediately.But on the postoperative 21th day, the patient had died with acute hepatitis.Histological finding of the ruptured arterial wall showed infected change.
