Elastic positron-hydrogen collisions with screened Coulomb potentials have been investigated using a second-order distorted wave Born approximation in the momentum space. Two types of potentials have been considered, namely, static screened Coulomb potential and exponential cosine-screened Coulomb potential. Using a simple variationally determined hydrogenic wave function it has been possible to obtain the scattering amplitude in a closed form. A detailed study has been made on the differential and total cross sections in the energy range 20–300 eV.

This paper proposes a generalized robust synchronization method for different dimensional fractional order dynamical systems with mismatched fractional derivatives in the presence of function uncertainty and external disturbance by a designing sliding mode controller. Based on the proposed theory of generalized robust synchronization criterion, a novel audio cryptosystem is proposed for sending or sharing voice messages secretly via insecure channel. Numerical examples are given to verify the potency of the proposed theories.

In this paper, the nonlinear model of genetic regulatory networks is described by the Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy model representation with time-varying delays. Due to the highly complicated nonlinear stability and robust stability problems, a fuzzy approximation method is employed to interpolate several linear genetic regulatory networks at different operation points via fuzzy bases to approximate the nonlinear genetic regulatory network. In this context, the methods of the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique could be employed to simplify the problems related to robust stability of genetic regulatory networks. Further, by involving triple integral terms in Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functionals and LMI techniques, the stability criteria for the delayed fuzzy genetic regulatory networks are expressed as a convex combination of LMIs, which can be solved numerically by any LMI solvers. Several numerical examples are given to verify the effectiveness and applicability of the derived approach.
