Publication

Featured researches published by K. Wiesner.

Canadian Journal of Chemistry | 1973

The Synthesis of Songorine: A Simplified Synthesis of the Aromatic Intermediate

K. Wiesner; Pak-Tsun Ho; D. Chang; Yiu Kuen Lam; Connie S. J. Pan; Wu Yun Ren

A simple conversion of the previously described (1) tricyclic ester 1 into the pentacyclic songorine intermediate 21 is described. The process is stereospecific and it operates in an overall yield of 7.8%.

Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences | 1971

Fragmentation of photoadducts between vinylene carbonate and unsaturated ketones

Pak-tsun Ho; S. F. Lee; D. Chang; K. Wiesner

Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences | 1971

The N-acyl group of oxonitine

K. Wiesner; Lizzie Jay

Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences | 1971

The total synthesis of delphinine: Resolution of the racemic relay compound into optical antipodes by an asymmetric reaction

K. Wiesner; E. W. K. Jay; Lizzie Poon-Jay

Journal of The Chemical Society, Chemical Communications | 1975

Conversion of the alkaloid atisine into a compound with the lycoctonine skeleton

M. Przybylska; T. Y. R. Tsai; K. Wiesner

The conversion of atisine into the ketone (13), which has a lycoctonine skeleton, and the X-ray structure determination of this product is described.

Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences | 1971

Polarographic determination of the reaction rate of the second step in an SN1 displacement

D. Barnes; K. Wiesner

Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences | 1972

Polarographic kinetics of reactions which proceed via carbonium ion intermediates

D. Barnes; Pak-tsun Ho; K. Wiesner

Tetrahedron Letters | 1968

Syntheses in the Series of Lycopodium Alkaloids. IX. Two simple stereospecific syntheses of 12-epi-lycopodine

K. Wiesner; V. Musil; Karel J. Wesner

Canadian Journal of Chemistry | 1973

Synthesis and Rearrangement Control of Substituted Benzobicycloheptane Aziridines

K. Wiesner; Pak-Tsun Ho; Rajiv Jain; S. F. Lee; S. Oida; A. Philipp

Canadian Journal of Chemistry | 1972

The Synthesis of Delphinine: A Stereoselective Total Synthesis of an Optically Active Advanced Relay Compound

K. Wiesner; E. W. K. Jay; T. Y. R. Tsai; C. Demerson; Lizzie Jay; T. Kanno; J. Křepinský; A. Vilím; C. S. Wu
