In this paper, we present a wideband planar e-shape textile antenna and study its performance numerically and experimentally. The textile material and the radiation patch shape provide the antenna a wide working band (2.25ghz-2.75ghz). A digital human model is established to numerically analyze the affect of human body on antenna. Experiments are carried out to study the performance of antenna on human body, The simulated and measured results in free space and on human chest show good agreement with each other. the wideband planar e-shape textile antenna is suitable for body-centric wireless communications with high quality.

From applications of high-impedance surfaces, TM surface wave pass-band below TM band-gap was found, and for periodic artificial surfaces without a band-gap, a similar phenomenon can be found below the leaky-wave band, which form the primary discovered special features in the present research work. A novel type of surface-wave antenna based on artificial surface was built, the antenna, which has wide-band impedance bandwidth and compact size, behaves like a monopole antenna in radiation pattern.

This paper focuses on the RFI signal in the impulse UWB system with equivalent time sampling. RFI signals in the equivalent time sampling cannot be completely recovered. To reveal the properties of the aliased RFI signals, we setup a simple mode of the RFI signal with time-varying phase and analyze the effect of the classical average operation. Simulations about the random and periodic equivalent time sampling schemes are performed and compared, and indicate that the RFI suppression has more relationship with the average factor other than the random equivalent time sampling scheme.

This paper proposes a feeding method for four-arm sinuous antenna, which is realized by using microstrip printed board welded on metal pyramid. It is an effective way to solve the problem of input impedance transformation and broadband balun. Then a four-arm sinuous antennas working at 0.4GHz to 2GHz is given, the measured results of VSWR and radiation pattern show that the feed form is reliable and effective, and the antenna has excellent performance in the operating bandwidth.

The simplifying analysis for single symmetry conformal array with arbitrary excitation weights is proposed. By substituting the original array with a magnetic and an electronic symmetry array with calculated excitation weights, the original conformal array can be analyzed from the half geometry, which reduces memory requirement to half. Finally, a single symmetry sectoral cylinder microstrip array is employed to validate the proposed technique.
