This paper presents different types of electronically tunable oscillators; therefore frequency of such oscillators can be controlled by voltage or current. The square wave output and sinusoidal output oscillators are presented. All described oscillators have potential using in different application in telecommunications and measuring devices, e.g. phase locked loops, modulation and detection. The oscillators were constructed and measured.

This paper describes a new approach to designing ERDPF control system. Contrary to the previous system, which used the high performance relay for switching the regeneration current, the new solution uses only semiconductor electronic parts. The ERDPF filter is designed to meet the requirements of the EURO 6 emission standard for PM. The ERDPF filter was designed with emphasis on the independence of the connection to internal vehicle communication buses, which means that the ERDPF control system does not need any external data for its correct function.

This paper describes a custom-designed measuring system based on Digimatic indicator and its integration into LinuxCNC control software. The system is composed of a digital indicator equipped with Digimatic output and a MODBUS slave module which is connected to the CNC machines PC via MODBUS. Although, the described measuring system was primarily intended for the evaluation of mechanical parameters of a custom-designed CNC milling machine, it can be used more widely.

This paper deals with controlling of the DPF filter regeneration. Our field of study is electrically burned DPFs. The paper contains the results of the burning tests and their comments. A task of the DPF regeneration is to burn soot accumulated in DPF. This needs to reach a sufficient temperature but not to exceed the safe temperature. Possibilities for determining a temperature in the filter are discussed. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are described. For the real application one of them was chosen. A prototype of control device was designed.

This paper deals with problems of design and realization of control system for autonomous robot. First part of project was to design hardware modules for data collection and motor control. Second part was SW that collects data from different types of simple sensors through Data collection module connected to CAN bus and from more advanced, like GPS and Microsoft KINECT, through USB. According these data, SW plans route with possibility of obstacle avoidance, glyph following and manual control, using wireless joystick (gamepad).

Human movement analysis is a research field with clinical and biometrics application. It has been shown useful in the objective measurement of gait, balance, falls risk assessment and mobility monitoring. Running and/or walking are also integral activities to most athletic disciplines. From a technological point of view, biometric walk-run recognition can be categorized into three approaches: machine vision based, floor sensor based and wearable sensor based. In this paper the accelerometer-based walk-run and shot measuring system is described. The results can be used for medical and sport purposes and also for biometric identification. The electronic system and results of measurement walk-run under laboratory conditions have been presented.

This paper describes a SCR system which is being developed for using with the diesel engines. Unlike the commercial products this system has not to be connected with the electrical control units or sensors of the target engine. It means the system is not dependent on the vehicle type. The goal of this project is to develop a self-sufficient system for the reduction of nitrogen oxides. This feature enables using the same system in wide range of projects, including retrofitting. It also describes whole hardware principle and the interconnection between modules. Additionally the basic behavior of the catalytic convertor is described and demonstrated by the results of several tests on the test bench.

This paper deals with a method for estimating the reliability of the electronic components, that are used in the design of electronic devices within complex systems. Mentioned methods provide a common base for comparison and evaluation of the design reliability and represent a tool that allows increasing the reliability of the proposed device. This article discusses a stress models, derived from the international standard ČSN EN 61709 ed.2 and reliability prediction handbook MIL-HDBK-217, which allows estimation of the effect changes in the environmental conditions on component reliability.

The Electrically Regenerable Diesel Particulate Filter is primary intended as part of an exhaust system which is able to use for a vehicle retrofitting. The portfolio of target applications is wide therefore it was necessary to design an electronic system which will be usable for all hardware configurations of ERDPF filters without any changes in firmware of the electronic control system. The electronic system was designed as a modular system which uses the new automatic detection methodology of mechanical ERDPF constructions. The automatic detection function is based on the bus switches and measuring of power consumption.

In this paper, the possibility of using an accelerometer-gyroscope based inertial sensor to improve a train locating system based on satellite navigation is described. Disadvantages of the inertial sensors are introduced as well as the calculation of desired data and their filtration. A poly-phase filter design is described as a possible solution for distortion elimination. A design approach of a prototype device which implements the inertial measurement and filtration is also described. The device is equipped with four sensors and it is connectable with a common PC by using USB. The software interface is suited for usage with LabVIEW software.
