Abstract By treating of the oligoethylene glycol monocarboxymethyl ethers with p-toluenesulfonyl chloride in the presence of alkali metal carbonates, novel macrocyclic polyether-monoester compounds were obtained in moderate yield.

ミンク鯨は一名 コイワシク ジ ラ(Lesser Rorqual, Piked Whale) Balaenoptera acto-rostrata Lacepede と称 し,ナ ガス鯨科に属す る。本科 中の最小種で,体 長 8~10m,ナ ガス鯨の幼児に似てい るが,胸 ヒレ背面 の 白色横帯の鮮在が特徴で ある。南北両半球に分布 し,わ が 国で も多少捕獲 され る。 この実験 の試料は北海道産 である。 試用 した ミンク鯨油 は淡黄色透 明の液体でつ ぎの性状 を有 した。 d154 0.9270 n20D 1.4725 酸 価6.7 ケ ン化価 190.3 ヨウ素価(ウ ィイス法) 145.2 油 よ り得た総脂肪酸お よび不 ケン化物の性 状はつ ぎの とお りである。 総脂肪酸 92.9%, 中和価 191.3 ヨウ素価(ウ ィイス法) 143.2 不 ケ ン化物の性状はつ ぎのとお りである。 n20D 1.4688 ヨウ素価(ウ ィイス法) 120.1 アセチル価 218.4 固体脂肪酸 および液体脂肪酸 の分離 上記 のよ うに して製収 した総脂肪酸を常法鉛塩 アル コ ー ル法 によ り,固 体酸 および液体酸 を分離 し た 結 果 は 表-1の とお りである。 表-1
