The purpose of this study is to identify, develop and compare the determinants of store personality of the most preferred consumer electronics chain stores, as perceived by young consumers in urkey. A questionnaire survey including a 22-item store personality scale was conducted among 855 students using a convenience sampling method. xploratory factor analysis ( A) and confirmatory factor analysis ( A) was performed. indings suggest that greater accuracy of information is needed in the purchasing decision related to high involvement products such as consumer electronics. Also it was found that younger consumers prefer reliable stores that give accurate information, value for money, and provides price-quality fit. This study addresses the neglected area of store personality development and validation for consumer electronics relates through an understanding of young consumers perceptions towards store personality determinants.

The present study aims to study the effect of consumers’ perceptions of H1N1 threat and of succeeding fear emotions on their coping responses and intentions to be vaccinated in a naturalistic setting. The findings reveal that increasing levels of threat appraisal significantly increases fear emotions. Coping appraisal intervenes between fear emotions and coping responses. The results support the propositions of the Ordered Protection Motivation Model (OPMM). Information source, source credibility, rumors, public media news, reference groups’ preferences and religious attitudes have moderating influences as well.

Son yillarda, hizmet sektorundeki gelismelerle birlikte, tasimacilik alanindaki kalite anlayisina iliskin hizmet ve yonetim felsefesinde onemli degisimler yasanmistir. Ozellikle, ulasim hizmeti saglayan karayolu ve havayolu isletmeleri bu degisimden onemli olcude etkilenerek, yogun rekabet ortaminda farklilik yaratabilmek icin hizmet kalitesine onem vermeye baslamislardir. Bu calismada, hizmette kalite anlayisini degerlendirmek amaciyla sehirlerarasi yolcu tasimaciligi yapan otobus firmalari ve havayolu sirketleri tarafindan gerceklestirilen hizmetler ve bunlarin musterilerin hizmet kalitesi algilamalari uzerindeki etkisi incelenmistir. Bu baglamda, karayolu ve havayolu isletmelerinin musterilerine verdikleri hizmetlerin mevcut durumlari, sorunlari degerlendirilmis ve sozu edilen tasimacilik hizmetlerinin karsilikli rekabet ustunlukleri, fiyat/kalite dengesi varsayimi altinda karsilastirilmistir. Bu kapsamda, musteri algilamalarindan hareketle literaturde kabul gormus Parasuraman, Zeithaml ve Berry (1988) tarafindan gelistirilen “Hizmet Kalitesi Modeli” yardimiyla belirlenen hizmet kalitesi olcutleri, hem havayolu hem de karayolu tasimaciligi acisindan degerlendirilmistir.
