An easy route to synthesize 1,5-arylodiazepin-2-ones

A series of 1,5-arylodiazepin-2-ones is prepared by the condensation of the appropriate o-β-arylenediamines with β-ketoesters in xylene under microwave irradiation. The reaction time is shortened to 10 mn, and the products are obtained in high yields. No by products are observed. Specific effects of microwaves are evidenced as no reaction occurs by classical heating in the same conditions.

Nous de′crivons la synthese de nouvelles spiro-rhodanine-pyrazolines par addition dipolaire-1,3 de la diphe′nylnitrilimine sur alumine en milieu sec sous irradiation micro-onde avec les 5-arylidenerhodanines. Ces dernieres sont e′galement pre′pare′es via une me′thode plus ge′ne′rale par condensation des de′rive′s de la rhodanine avec les alde′hydes sur alumine ou montmorillonite KSF sans solvant sous champ micro-onde. Les re′actions sont largement favorise′es sur support inorganiques et les effets thermiques des micro-ondes sont mis en e′vidence par comparaison avec le chauffage conventionnel. We describe the synthesis of new spiro-rhodanine-pyrazolines from the 1,3-dipolar addition of diphenylnitrilimine to some 5-arylidenerhodanines on solid inorganic supports in ‘dry media’ and under microwave irradiation. The 5-arylidenerhodanines are prepared by the condensation of derivatised rhodanines with aldehydes on alumina or montmorillonite KSF support without solvent under microwave irradiation. Thermal effects of microwaves are displayed by comparison with classical heating.
