Taking account of the Lorentz contraction effect of the extended nucleon core as a nucleon but not as a quark, it is shown that the Gaussian inner orbital wave function can produce the form factor very close to the dipole formula.

The nucleon elastic form factors are also discussed in the same framework of the model. In particular it is shown that the neutron electric form factor appearing as a relativistic effect is consistent with existing experimental data.

It is shown that the non-zero elastic amplitude real part effects and the nucleon recoil effects may be reflected in the relationship between elastic scattering and inelastic collisions at high energies. The effects are illustrated by some simple models so designed as to express the essential features of high energy collisions. In some cases the results are quite different from those obtained by discarding the real part and/or the nucleon recoil.
