Effects of the Bath Temperature on the Energy Distribution in the Submerged Combustion Apparatus

Effects of bath temperature on the energy distribution were investigated in the submerged combnstion apparatus. Evaporation occured hardly at less than 50°C, but when the temperature rose above 50°C, evaporation efficiency became apparent.On the other hand, heating efficiency decreased as the bath temperature rose above 50°C.These experimental results showed good agreements with that of theoretical energy distribrution.

火炎の安定化機構に関する基礎的研究を行なうためにスロットバーナを用い, バーナロ近傍で主流混合ガスと同組成ガスの噴出, あるいは主流混合ガスの吸引を行なってバーナロ近傍での境界速度勾配を変化させ, 実験的および理論的検討を行なった。その結果境界速度勾配は火炎の安定性において流体力学的条件を表わす重要な因子であることがわかった。

Mechanism of Combustion in Two-dimensional Laminar Diffusion Flame

2次元層流拡散焔について, 燃料成分の物質移動におよぼす燃焼反応の影響を実験的, 理論的に検詞した, 燃料としてはプロパンを用い流速は1.932cm/secと2.90cm/secの2種類について実験を行なった。そしてパーナロ近傍において噴流作用による多量の空気同伴のために燃料成分の物質移動が大きくなり, またkcomb.と反応係数の理論値と実験値とはよく一致し火焔の先端程, 物質移動におよぼす燃焼反応の影響が大きいことが分かった。
