Low-Carbon Concrete Using Ground Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag and Fly Ash

In this study, the effect of ground granulated blast-furnace slag and fly ash on fresh properties, strength properties and durability was examined. In addition, the effect of those admixtures on the reductions of CO2 was clarified. From the test results, it can be concluded that when the ground granulated blast furnace slag and fly ash were used (1) the early strength of concrete decreased compared with the concrete without the admixtures, (2) regarding the fresh properties, the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 28 days and the durability, the same performance as concrete without admixtures was obtained. The amount of CO2 emission per 1 N/mm2 of concrete compressive strength decreased when the amount of fly ash and ground granulated blast-furnace slag increased.

本研究では,環境負荷低減を目指したフライアッシュ利用コンクリートの開発を目的として,フライアッシュのセメントおよび細骨材置換によるコンクリートのフレッシュ性状および強度発現に及ぼす影響について検討を行った.また,フライアッシュ利用による環境負荷低減効果,具体的には,CO2等排出量および骨材削減量についても検討を行った.その結果,フライアッシュの内割外割の併用は,フライアッシュを用いない場合と比べて,ブリーディングおよび長さ変化を抑制することが明らかとなった.また,強度については,水結合材比および材齢に依存して,フライアッシュを用いない場合と比べて同等かそれ以上の性能を示すとともに,さらに,コンクリート製造による環境負荷を低減させることが明らかとなった.
