Facile Synthesis of 4H-1,2,4-Benzothiadiazine-1,1-dioxides

Abstract o-Bromoarylsulfonylated amidines prepared either by acylation of amidine with o-bromoarylsulfonyl chloride or through the reaction of o-bromoarylsulfoamide with lactime ether underwent Cu(I)-catalyzed intramolecular cyclization to give 4H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine-1,1-dioxides in good yield. By varying substituents on arylsulfonyl moieties, amidines, and lactime ethers, a small library of structurally diverse 4H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine-1,1-dioxide derivatives was prepared.

A Novel Approach to the Synthesis of [1,2-a]Fused Polymethylenebenzimidazoles

Abstract The synthesis of 2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]benzimidazoles and 7,8,9,10-tetrahydro-6H-azepino[1,2-a]benzimidazoles from cyclic amidines is described.

Synthesis of 7-amino-1-nitro-2-heptanone derivatives

Abstract New N-substituted 7-amino-1-nitro-2-heptanone derivatives have been obtained starting from readily accessible 2-(nitromethylidene)hexahydro-1H-azepine. These compounds have been further used as starting materials for the synthesis of some heterocycles with 5-aminopentyl fragment.

The derivatives of the 2a,4a-Diazacyclopenta[c,d]azulene

Abstract The method of preparation of the 3-aryl-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-5 H -imidazo[1,2- a ]azepines 2a-d from O -methylcaprolactim and phenacylamine hydrochlorides has been developed. The bases 2 reacted with phenacylbromides to yield the quaternary salts 4a-e . The cyclisation of 4a-e in basic conditions resulted in a new heterocyclic system-the derivatives of 2a,4a-Diazacyclopenta[ c , d ]azulene- 5a-i .

Lactim Ethers in the Synthesis of 1,2-Polymethylene-4-quinazolones

Abstract Condensation of lactim ethers with amides of o-halogeno-substituted aromatic acids was investigated. Derivatives of 5,7,8,9,10,11-hexahydroazepino[1,2-a]quinazolin-5-one and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrrolo-[1,2-a]quinazolin-5-one were obtained.
