Manchester Coding based Re-modulation Scheme for Optical Access Network

We proposed a novel re-modulation scheme using Manchester coded downstream and NRZ upstream for passive optical networks (PON). We experimentally analyzed the transmission performance for upstream and downstream signals over 20-km transmission distance.

Transmission of Multiple HD-TV Signals over Wireless/Wireline Millimeter Wave Link

We demonstrate a transmission of 37 channels x 64 QAM coded HD-TV signal over fiber-optic millimeter wave testbed. Good error performance and clean MPEG-2 video transmission were achieved in the 60 -GHz band.

Implementation and performance evaluation of millimeter wave test bed based on 60 GHz

60 GHz Radio-over-fiber test bed was implemented and the transmission properties including the dispersion at fiber and optical amplifier noise effects were investigated to provide broadband wireless services.
