Registered peers to a P2P service can share and exchange information with other peers without servers using P2P network. In such P2P networks, there are frequent leaks of the internal privacy data of an organization through P2P file sharing. Today, DLP which is a privacy data leakage prevention technology is applied P2P network blocking and file encryption methods. However restricting all the services and normal users is difficult due to the number of ports used by P2P including the port 80. Thus, we propose a privacy data leakage prevention method by releasing a P2P sharing file that does not include privacy data using a privacy data removing technology with a privacy data leaking risk factor. The proposed method provides higher security and performance compared with a DLP method as privacy data is removed from a P2P sharing file.

Recently, due to the interoperation of distributed information, the task and task analysis requiring the information connection in the distributed environment increases, and the decision support using the system becomes more important. As the centralized structure of the multi-agent based information interoperability system is composed of master and slave, it is vulnerable to impersonation attack, integrity, non-repudiation, and privacy security. Therefore, this paper adopted EMAF for information interoperability to propose an information interoperability system with security. In addition, to overcome the security vulnerability that may happen to the proposed system based on multi-agent, we are going to propose an agent mutual authentication method where certificates and session keys are combined together. When the proposed method is applied to the information interoperation between the national R&D report registration management system and the project management organization research report management system, not only the information interoperations in the distributed environment but also the safe information interoperability are supplied.

Knowledge maps for science and technology are used extensively in the research projects. However, they are not organized systematically and are not necessarily suitable to be used in the research projects. Therefore, this study aims to organize the knowledge maps in order to support scientific research projects. To this end, the existing knowledge maps for science and technology are classified as one of four types based on data representation methods; the frequency summary map, trend summary map, distribution-based knowledge map and network-based knowledge map. Additionally, by summarizing and classifying the knowledge maps through the principle of `five w`s and one h`, the unexplored area are investigated. Finally, some examples of useful knowledge maps in terms of data analysis are provided with details such as definitions, components and utilization purposes. These findings may be a starting point for future research into a better understanding of knowledge maps for science and technology.

To develop an intelligent search engine to help users retrieve information effectively, various methods, such as Semantic Web, have been used, An effective retrieval method of such methods uses ontology technology. In this paper, we built National R&D ontology after analyzing National R&D Information in NTIS and then implemented National R&D Knowledge Map to represent and retrieve information of the relationship between object and subject (project, human information, organization, research result) in R&D Ontology. In the National R&D Knowledge Map, center-node is the object selected by users, node is subject, subject`s sub-node is user`s favorite query in National R&D ontology after analyzing the relationship between object and subject. When a user selects sub-node, the system displays the results from inference engine after making query by SPARQL in National R&D ontology.

This study aims to analyze utilization of science and technology statistics through the science and technology statistics system which collects and provides science and technology statistics information in a systematic manner and propose a plan to strengthen the use of services. For this, it attempted to survey the current development of science and technology statistics system and trend of science and technology statistics, present analysis results and suggest a plan to strengthen the use of service.

Finding a document that is similar to a specified query document within a large document database is one of important issues in the Big Data era, as most data available is in the form of unstructured texts. Our testing collection consists of two parts: In the first part texts were produced by human work by artificial plagiarism approach through the linear pipelined procedure. In the second part, texts are generated by software that inserts, deletes, and substitutes certain parts of the target documents to make a similar document from an input document. These document set is known as the Serially Evolved Documents (SED). We propose new methods: Order Preserving Precision (OPP) and Order Preserving Recall (OPR), to compute how the evolutionary order is kept among output documents obtained from the subject IR system. Using those testing texts we evaluated KONAN, a document retrieval system for Korean documents.

In recent year, a number of text-based slide search engines on the website for looking for power-point files have opened. However, general user wants to search information by an intuitive method which detects things based on their knowledge. In this paper, we propose an intuitive retrieval method for searching the presentation slide using content-based image retrieval. The proposed method uses the feature of digital image transformed from each slide to calculate similarity between stored slide and query slide instead of texts in the presentation slide or file name. The local feature and global feature was extracted in digital image transformed from slide and we rapidly calculate the similarity between features. We showed that similar slide can be efficiently and intuitionally searched by using content-based image retrieval technique.
