Improvement of life quality in the developed nations has systematically generated an increase in the life expectancy. A statistic studies curried out by the French national institute of statistic and economic studies (INSEE) shows a new distribution of age classes in France. In fact, almost one in three people will be over 60 years in 2050, against one in five in 2005, and France will have over 10 million of people over 75 years and over 4 million of people over 85 years. Nevertheless, the increasing number of elderly person implies more resources for aftercare, paramedical care and natural assistance in their habitats. The current healthcare infrastructure in those countries is widely considered to be inadequate to meet the needs of this increasingly older population. In this case a permanent assistance is necessary wherever they are, healthcare monitoring is a solution to deal with this problem and ensure the elderly to live safely and independently in their own home for as long as possible.

Tweets mining for French Presidential Election

Katarzyna Wegrzyn-Wolska; Lamine Bougueroua

This paper describes a system which surveys the French Presidential Election trends from Twitters discussions. This system carries out the automatic collection, evaluation and rating of tweets for evaluating the trends. The objective of this paper is to discuss the variety of issues and challenges surrounding the perspectives regarding the use of Social Network Analyses and Text Mining methods for applications in politics. The article will first present a review of the literature in Social Media and Text Mining analysis for political purposes and then describe the work done for our system for collecting and manipulating Twitters data.

Social Network - An Autonomous System Designed for Radio Recommendation

Lamine Bougueroua; Katarzyna Wegrzyn-Wolska

This paper describes the functions of a system proposed for the music tube recommendation from social network data base. Such a system enables the automatic collection, evaluation and rating of music critics, the possibility to rate music tube by auditors and the recommendation of tubes depended from auditors profiles in form of regional internet radio. First, the system searches and retrieves probable music reviews from the Internet. Subsequently, the system carries out an evaluation and rating of those reviews. From this list of music tubes the system directly allows notation from our application. Finally the system automatically create the record list diffused each day depended form the region, the year season, day hours and age of listeners. Our system uses linguistics and statistic methods for classifying music opinions and data mining techniques for recommendation part needed for recorded list creation. The principal task is the creation of popular intelligent radio adaptive on auditors age and region - IA-Regional-Radio.

Social media analysis for e-health and medical purposes

Katarzyna Wegrzyn-Wolska; Lamine Bougueroua; Grzegorz Dziczkowski

The quantity of medical publications in the media such a tweets, blogs, and another content in social media is growing at an exponential rate. Exploring and analyzing this content has become a necessity. The objective of this paper is to discuss the variety of issues and challenges surrounding the perspectives regarding the use of Social Network Analyses and Text Mining methods for applications in E health and medecine. The article will first look at the directions taken in Social Media and Text Mining for medical science. First we present a review of the literature in Social Media and Text Mining analysis for medical purposes and then describe the work done for our prediction system for collecting and manipulating and Twitter data.

HoCoS: Home Companion Software. A service oriented solution for elderly home accompanying and remote healthcare monitoring

Mohamed Achraf Dhouib; Lamine Bougueroua; Dan Istrate; M. Pino; C. Bernard

The age of the population in all societies around the world is increasing. Elderly people prefer to maintain their independence, their autonomy and live at home as long as possible. We propose as a solution to this issue a Home Companion Software baptized HoCoS. This solution aims to help the elderly with daily life by providing an ergonomic and familiar interface. The second purpose is to integrate transparent remote healthcare monitoring service that ensures elderly security without disturbing the ergonomics of the application. We present service oriented architecture that offers extensibility and interoperability between heterogonous systems in order to combine several technologies and operators. We carried out ergonomic tests on this solution to evaluate its comfort and ease of use.

Combination of Decision Support System (DSS) for Remote Healthcare Monitoring Using a Multi-agent Approach

Mohamed Achraf Dhouib; Lamine Bougueroua; Katarzyna Wegrzyn-Wolska

This research is in the field of remote healthcare monitoring systems which propose software solutions to monitor elderly people in their own homes. Our objective is to take advantage of the technological diversity of several Decision Support Systems used to detect distress situations. We propose a multi-agent approach in which each agent encapsulates a decision support system. This encapsulation enables the real-time combination of decisions. In this paper, we present the architecture of our multi-agent system and the real-time scheduling of the collective decision process.

Mohamed Achraf Dhouib; Lamine Bougueroua; Katarzyna Wegrzyn-Wolska; Salim Benayoune

This research is in the field of remote healthcare monitoring systems which propose software solutions to monitor elderly people in their own homes. Our objective is to take advantage of the technological diversity of several Decision Support Systems used to detect distress situations. We propose a multi-agent architecture; each agent encapsulates a decision support system. This encapsulation enables the fusion of heterogonous decisions. In this paper, we present the architecture of our multi-agent system (MAS) and the computation methods to perform the decision fusion.

Mohamed Achraf Dhouib; Lamine Bougueroua; Katarzyna Wegrzyn-Wolska; Stefan Todorov

The age of the population in all societies around the world is increasing. Elderly people prefer to maintain their independence, their autonomy and live at home as long as possible. This research take place in the field of the health care telemonitoring system which proposes software solutions to monitor elderly people in their own home. This study aims to make profit of the technological diversity of the several Decision Support System used to detect distress situation. We propose a multi-Agent approach to federate a collective decision process in which each Agent encapsulates a decision support system. This encapsulation enables the real time combination of the decisions.

IA-Regional-Radio – Social Network for Radio Recommendation

Grzegorz Dziczkowski; Lamine Bougueroua; Katarzyna Wegrzyn-Wolska

This chapter describes the functions of a system proposed for the music hit recommendation from social network data base. This system carries out the automatic collection, evaluation and rating of music reviewers and the possibility for listeners to rate musical hits and recommendations deduced from auditor’s profiles in the form of regional Internet radio. First, the system searches and retrieves probable music reviews from the Internet. Subsequently, the system carries out an evaluation and rating of those reviews. From this list of music hits, the system directly allows notation from our application. Finally, the system automatically creates the record list diffused each day depending on the region, the year season, the day hours and the age of listeners. Our system uses linguistics and statistic methods for classifying music opinions and data mining techniques for recommendation part needed for recorded list creation. The principal task is the creation of popular intelligent radio adaptive on auditor’s age and region – IA-Regional-Radio.
