Relações entre grandes e pequenas empresas de autopeças e a difusão de práticas de gestão da produção

Este trabalho analisa a influencia de grandes empresas de autopecas na introducao de praticas de gestao da producao em pequenas empresas fornecedoras. A partir de estudos de caso realizados em onze empresas, uma grande empresa de autopecas e 10 fornecedores seus, foi possivel identificar um padrao de difusao. Certas praticas, como entrega em just-in-time, certificacao e tecnicas para controle da qualidade, sao mais adotadas por imposicao dos clientes. Outras praticas, como o just-in-time interno, as celulas de manufatura e a polivalencia da mao-de-obra sao normalmente adotadas por iniciativa das proprias pequenas empresas fornecedoras, ao tomarem os proprios clientes como referencia e por influencia de outras organizacoes (consultorias, associacoes empresariais, instituicoes de qualificacao e treinamento e de financiamento). De uma forma geral, as pequenas empresas tem maior dificuldade de acesso a estas organizacoes, mas e possivel identificar, entre as pesquisadas, aquelas que tem se aproveitado mais destas relacoes.

Reconfigurando as redes institucionais: relações interfirmas, trabalho e educação na industria de linha branca

This study analyses the diffusion of technological and organizational innovations within the white goods commodity chain based on a survey of firms close to around the city of Campinas/SP during the period 1996-1997. It attempts to verify whether the reestructuring process affects inter-firm relations and the relations between the firms and different institutions, specially those related to the educational system.

Trajetória institucional e políticas de CT&I: o caso do CNAVAL/IPT nos anos 2000

This article discusses the relationship between the institutional trajectory of the Institute for Technological Research (IPT) and the changes in ST&I policies, trying to identify the inflection points which impacted their organizational routines. The objective is to understand the strategies that the Institute, their leaders and researchers assume face to the changing context in which they live. The concepts of trajectory, evolution, organizational learning, routines and techno-economics network are guiding this article. After a brief history of the most important transformations experienced by the institution, between 1970 and 1998, this work focuses in this recent decade and in a experience analysis of Center for Naval and Ocean Engineering (CNAVAL/IPT). The methodological approach is exploratory, combining interviews with key actor, documentary research and literature about transformations of the Public Research Institutes (IPPs) from Brazil.
