Performance analysis and catalyst selection of SCR DeNOx technology in large coal-fired boilers

Nitrogen oxides (NOx) are one kind of harmful substances causing serious pollution on atmospheric environment. Characteristics of NOx from coal-fired utility boilers are massive and lean. In this paper, large coal-fired boilers were chosen as the object, NOx formation mechanism and control were studied, and comparative analyzed adaptabilities of deNOx technologies. SCR deNOx technology was a major technique used to control NOx emissions. Through analysis, factors which the SCR deNOx catalyst choice must be considered and affecting SCR DeNOx catalyst failure factors were gotten, which provided the theory basis for SCR deNOx catalysts choice of the large-scale coal-fired boiler.

Progress of absorption CO 2 by membrane contactor

As a new type of technology of carbon dioxide separation from flue gas,membrane absorption are paid more and more attentions by scholars of home and abroad. Membrane contactor can provide larger interfacial area to increase the mass transfer coefficient comparing to traditional chemical absorption technique. The system process, membrane materials and absorption solution are studied on the membrane absorption of CO2. A brief introduction is made about mixed absorption solution and the performance on combining different membrane materials with absorption solution. The prospect forecast of membrane absorption is also discussed.
