Study of power grid planning integrated information platform based on big-data technology

Traditional power network planning usually meets the poor basic data sources and lacks the necessary information tools. This paper develops the Power Grid Planning Integrated Information Platform based on the large data processing technology. The platform integrates mass basic data which from Grid GIS, Production PMS, Dispatch EMS and Intelligent Distribution Network Operation Monitoring Platform, and makes full use of advanced technology such as big data analysis and processing, multi-source information fusion analysis, multi-dimensional display of large data, etc. The platform develops six modules, including integrated information management, analysis of power grid diagnosis, power grid graph management, analysis of load forecast, planning and feasibility evaluation, economic and technical evaluation, etc, to realize the comprehensive arrangement of network planning data, the real-time diagnostic of grid, the accurate simulation of grid operation, and the centralized shared of planning achievements. The platform has been piloted in Shandong power grid, and significantly improves the efficiency of power grid planning and the informationization level of power grid.
