Constituents from Lonicera japonica

Li-Yan Peng; Shuang-Xi Mei; Bei Jiang; Hong Zhou; Han-Dong Sun

Five caffeoylquinic acids and esters (1-5), including a new compound, 3,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid butyl ester (5), were isolated from the flowers and buds of Lonicera japonica and their structures were determined by NMR spectral analysis.

Ent-Kaurane Diterpenoids from Isodon rubescens var. lushiensis

Han-Dong Sun; Quan-Bin Han; Li-Yan Peng

Three new 6,7-seco-6,19:6,20-diepoxy-1α,7-olide-ent-kaurane diterpenoids, ludongnins C-E (1-3), along with six known analogs, macrocalyxoformins A (4) and B (5), sculponeatins A (6) and B (7), and ludongnins A (8) and B (9), were isolated from Isodon rubescens var. lushiensis. The structures of the new compounds were determined on the basis of the spectroscopic evidences. Compound (5) exhibited significant inhibitory activities against the Bcap37 and K562 cell lines with IC 5 0 = 0.82 and 0.62 μg/mL, respectively.

Constituents from Limonia crenulata

Xue-Mei Niu; Sheng-Hong Li; Li-Yan Peng; Zhong-Wen Lin; Gao-Xiong Rao; Han-Dong Sun

Abstract A new indole alkaloid, crenulatine (1), along with twenty known compounds, was isolated from the stems of Limonia Crenulata. Their structures were identified by spectral means. Those compounds include four alkaloids, four coumarins, two flavanones, three tetranortriterpenoids, one triterpenoid, three steroids, two lignans and two aromatic compounds.

Xiu Gao; Juan He; Xing-De Wu; Li-Yan Peng; Liao-Bin Dong; Xu Deng; Yan Li; Xiao Cheng; Qin-Shi Zhao

Three new sauchinone analogues, sauchinones B-D (1-3), together with sauchinone (4), were isolated from the aerial part of Saururus chinensis. Structures of the new compounds were determined by extensive spectroscopic data as well as X-ray analysis. Compounds 3 and 4 inhibited nitric oxide production in lipopolysaccharide stimulated RAW 264.7 cells with IC50 values of 13.0 and 14.2 µM, respectively.

Heterocycles | 2005

Two new taxoids from the needles and stems of Taxus chinensis

Zh Xia; Li-Yan Peng; Rt Li; Qin-Shi Zhao; Han-Dong Sun

Two new taxoids, named 10-O-benzoyl-15-O-acetyltaxumairol X (1) and 5-O-acetyl-20-O-deacetyl-4,20-p-hydroxylbenzylidenedioxytaxuyunnanine L (2), were isolated from the needles and stems of Taxus chinensis. Their structures were determined on the basis of combined 1D and 2D spectral techniques.

Fitoterapia | 2000

Constituents of Craspedolobium schochii

Shuang-Xi Mei; Hui Yang; Bei Jiang; Li-Yan Peng; Zhong-Wen Lin; Han-Dong Sun

Nine phenolic compounds, including a new one, were isolated from 70% acetone extract of Craspedolobium schochii. The new compound was identified as 3-(3,4-dimethoxy-2-hydroxyphenyl)-7-hydroxy-coumarin (1) on the basis of spectroscopic evidence.

Fitoterapia | 2017

Sauruchinenols A and B, unprecedented monocyclic diterpenes with new carbon skeleton from the aerial parts of Saururus chinensis

Xiu Gao; Juan He; Xing-De Wu; Li-Yan Peng; Li-Dong Shao; Yan Li; Xiao Cheng; Qin-Shi Zhao

Sauruchinenols A (1) and B (2), two novel monocyclic diterpenes with unique carbon skeleton, as well as two new structurally related diterpenes, sauruchinenols C (3) and D (4), were isolated from the aerial part of Saururus chinensis. Their structures were elucidated based on the analysis of spectroscopic data. A hypothetical biogenetic pathway for sauruchinenols A and B was proposed.

Planta Medica | 2002
