Research on Control Strategy for Regenerative Braking of a Plug-In Hybrid Electric City Public Bus

Regenerative braking is an efficient method to achieve better fuel economy and lower emission. The control strategy of regenerative braking for one plug-in hybrid electric city public bus with ABS system is studied. Under Qingdao urban working cycle, the scheme of the regenerative braking system has been developed, the control strategy is given out and simulated. The ideal braking force distribution on front wheel and rear wheel are analyzed. In the control strategy, power is supplied by regenerative braking when lower braking intensity is required and by proportionally combination of regenerative braking and frictional braking deduced by fuzzy-logic control strategy when higher braking intensity is required. And front wheel with rear wheel frictional braking and unchanged motor torque are combined by ideal braking force distribution when braking intensity up to motor’s max torque. And the logistic upper & lower limit value of ABS controller is correspondingly adjusted. The results indicate that, the new control strategy for regenerative braking of plug-in hybrid electric city public bus with ABS system can recover more braking energy with good brake drive ability, and can cooperate with ABS system to guarantee braking safety. And it improves the braking directional stability of the PHEV bus. It also conforms to ECE laws and regulations. Especially under the situation of urban working cycle of Qingdao, the energy consumption can be reduced by 15¿¿20¿.

Research on the Integrated Management of Highway Based on Radio Frequency Identification Technology

The highway is the inevitable outcome of the social and economic development. In recent years, with the rapid development of our economy, the growth of highway is becoming faster and faster. But the followed is a series of highway management issues. In view of the issues of poor vehicle control, the traditional parking charge as well as traffic jam brought by this, road toll in confusion, low level of management information and so on in the highway traffic management, this article proposes a highway integrated management system based on the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. The system can realize the effective vehicles supervision, no parking fee and so on. It can effectively solve the existing expressway management problems and make the use and management of highways become more efficient, safe and reasonable.

With the rapid development of port logistics, it sets a higher request to the management level of the container terminal. In view of the terminal issues of the tedious process of manually collecting container and truck information with higher error rate, the management confusion and low utilization of container handling equipment, poor supervision of the terminal container goods as well as personnel, low degree of management information technology in terminal and so on, this article combines the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to propose a container terminal management system based on the RFID technology and introduces the specific application of this management system in the port with emphasis. It can effectively solve the management issues in the contemporary container terminals so that the current situation of terminal management is improved.

An optimization technique of braking force distribution coefficient for truck

Braking force distribution coefficient of the axles influences the braking efficiency and the directional stability when the truck is braking. So, reasonable distribution coefficient is very important for traffic safety. Truck generally travels on the road that has a certain range of adhesion conditions. Through calculating the max value of truck brake efficiency in the certain range of adhesion conditions, the paper defines the optimal distribution coefficient, and applies this kind of technique to optimize the braking force distribution coefficient of one kind of FAW truck. It also compares the optimized front and rear curve of utilization adhesion coefficient and severity of braking with the curve before optimization, and analyzes the curves. Finally, the paper conducts road test of a truck. The results show that the technique can improve brake efficiency of truck and have good practical value.

In this paper a knowledge model for Mechatronic Product Development Based on ontology is put forward, which can support the description and reuse of design knowledge in mechatronic product development. Firstly the typical problems of design knowledge reuse in mechatronic product development are analyzed. Secondly a knowledge model for Mechatronic Product Development and its description based on ontology are given. Thirdly a simple example is introduced to illustrate the main ideas. Finally, the conclusions and future research goal are given.
