Study on Road Recognition Algorithm

Two algorithms have been used based on different road condition. The algorithms improve real-time character and accuracy. For the road with middle line, the paper introduces an improved algorithm to get the road line. The method improves the veracity and efficiency of the system. For the road without middle line, the road recognition algorithm is composed of two modules. The road boundaries detection module is used to get the information about road boundaries when vehicle just runs. Meanwhile the boundaries following module is started to predict the position of road edge when vehicle runs stably with the prediction knowledge. The road boundaries detection module mixes two kinds of information together and uses the adjacency of them in the space to get the exact information of road boundaries.

Stepper Motor Subdivided Control System Based on SOPC Technology

A stepper motor subdivided control system based on SOPC (System on a Programmable Chip) technology is designed in this paper. Using the TFG (Task Flow Graph) model, the system is designed to satisfy the requirement of some micromanipulation. The design method is based on the TFG model of the digital signal process algorithm and implemented with SOPC technology. As is known, stepper motor system consists of three parts which are control section, driver section and stepper motor. Under the analysis of the stepper motor subdivided principle which gives its precise control method, the architecture of the system and the practical driver circuit as the control circuit are provided. The Nios II CPU is selected for the SOPC system as the control core. The software flow process chart of the subdivided control according to the timing requirement of LMD18245 which is the driver chip for the stepper motor is also offered. In the end, the picture of the substance of the system is shown.

Sensor Network Evaluation System Based on Embedded Technology

Sensor network is an important technology in the domain of information technology application. Based on the embedded system and the transmission network bus, this paper offers the system structure and the testing flow of an evaluation system for the design structure of sensor network. The software and hardware of the evaluation system could be modulated based on users requirement. The structure and the transmission condition of the modulated system also could be evaluated and simulated.

Application of fingerprint recognition on the laboratory management

Focuses on the demand of the opening administration for the laboratory in high school, combined with the fingerprint recognition technology, this paper designs a universal laboratory management system, which contains checking on work attendance, students information management, querying and course management functions. The fingerprint recognition technology is analyzed in detail. The two manners of the computer system applying the fingerprint recognition technology both verification and identification are introduced. Using fingerprint collection technique, software program and database technology, the architecture of the system and the realization method of each function are provided. The system gets a good stability and accuracy through the practical test.

Optimizing approach of spiral inductors for Si-Based ICs

A particular optimizing approach that aims at the modeling, analysis and design of integrated spiral inductors is addressed in this paper. The novel optimizing approach is based on analyzing the tapered inductor and symmetric inductor. With the optimizing approach, the advantages of tapered inductor and symmetric spiral inductor are combined and the Q-value and differential character of the inductor are enhanced remarkably. This optimization approach especially suits the requirements of high performance and makes entire differential VCO into a high performance spiral inductor. The new type inductor has been simulated and verified with ASITIC. This optimized design selects the representative monolayer square spiral inductor as the test object, the operating frequency is 2.439 GHz, and the chip area maximum value definition is 250 times 250 um2.

Model and Analysis on Time Complexity for Graph-Based Segmentation

Time complexity of an algorithm is closely related to its implement method. In order to make the time complexity analysis more universal in engineering, the Operator Cost Model (OCM) was proposed and used for analyzing the Graph-Based Segmentation Algorithm (GBSA) in this paper. The OCM is to be used for time complexity analysis of GBSA by extracting the cost of operating operators with inherent characteristics that are unrelated to the microprocessor system. Meanwhile, the influence of the control factor k to the operator consumption is also analyzed qualitatively. The relationship between k and OCM was discussed, which provides some help for the application of GBSA in practical engineering.

The design of sub-threshold reference circuit using resistor temperature compensation

A reference circuit employing sub-threshold current is presented, which uses two CTAT currents and resistor temperature compensation to generate a reference voltage of 200mV. Since most of MOSFETs are working at sub-threshold region, the circuit only consumes 716nW at supply voltage of 1V with PSRR of −53.5dB at room temperature using TSMC 0.18µm technology. The reference voltages average temperature coefficient is 25ppm/° in the range [−25, +125]° and its variation is 2.26mV/V for supply voltage from 0.8 to 2.5V.

Connecting bridge in SoC used for wireless home healthcare system

A connection bridge for connection of two CPU systems in SoC of the HAB (healthcare apparatus on body/bed) in home healthcare wireless network is addressed. Multi CPU system in a SoC could be divided into different part according with data process function. Therefore the each part of the system can work independently without influence each other. With the discussion of the performance of HAB and home networking, the connection bridge is a suitable technology for reducing dies size and power consumption. The connection bridge designed in the paper connects two CPU systems and two digital circuitry components together. To the CPU system, common digital circuitry is a part of the CPU system with the bridge. The architecture and logic function of the connection bridge is analyzed in detail and simulated. The simulation results demonstrate that the connection bridge can not only supply the connection of two CPU and two common components, display module and RAM, but also increase the running speed and system performance.

ECG Signal Generator Design Based On DFG Model

ECG signals model described by data flow graph (DFG) is addressed in this paper. The model is built on the time processing. The principle of DFG modeling method for ECG signal is based on the idea of ECG time interval. According to the data processing flow, the each wave could be considered as a piece of ECG signal and the pieces could be processed in time sequence. According to the model, the time characters and parameters could be processed by the algorithm. The model is also useful for the design of ECG signal generator
