The ions and water molecules of the title compound, C7H7N2+·C7H5O6S−·3H2O, are organized into an infinite two-dimensional network via N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds parallel to the (100) plane.

Bis(benzimidazolium) naphthalene-1,5-disulfonate trihydrate

The title compound, 2C7H7N2 +·C10H6O6S2 2−·3H2O, consists of two crystallographically independent benzimidazolium cations, two independent naphthalene-1,5-disulfonate dianions (both generated by inversion) and three water molecules. These components construct an infinite three-dimensional framework in the crystal structure via O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

catena-Poly[[nickel(II)-μ-1,3-dimethyl-2,6-dioxo-7H-purinato-κ2N7:N9] hydroxide]

The title complex, {[Ni(C7H7N4O2)]OH}n, has been prepared through hydrothermal synthesis. The asymmetric unit contains one [Ni(TH)]+ cation (TH is the theophylline anion) and one hydroxide anion. The Ni2+ ion is coordinated by two N atoms from two neighboring theophylline anions. The alternating linkage of the Ni2+ cation and theophylline anion results in a one-dimensional chain along the [010] direction. Intermolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds are present n the crystal structure.

Bis(4,4′-methyl­enedianilinium) naphthalene-1,5-disulfonate dihydrate

The asymmetric unit of the title salt, C13H16N2 2+·C10H6O6S2 2−·2H2O, consists of one dication located on a general position, half each of two centrosymmetric dianions, and two uncoordinated water molecules in general positions. In the dication, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 74.67 (6)°. The cations and anions interact through N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The NH3 + functional groups are also involved in N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds with the water molecules, forming an infinite three-dimensional framework in the crystal structure.

Synthesis, Structural Investigation and Characterization of an α-Keggin-based Organic-Inorganic Hybrid, [Cu(BIIM)2]{[Cu(BIIM)2(H2O)][Cu(BIIM)2BW12O40]·3H2O}2 (BIIM = 2,2´-Biimidazole)

An organic-inorganic hybrid based on the α-Keggin anion [BW12O40]5-, [Cu(BIIM)2] {[Cu(BIIM)2(H2O)][Cu(BIIM)2BW12O40]·3H2O}2 (BIIM=2,2´biimidazole) (1) was hydrothermally prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV spectra. Compound 1 is composed of [Cu(BIIM)2]2+ and [Cu(BIIM)2(H2O)]2+ cations and a [Cu(BIIM)2BW12O40]3- polyanion, in which the [BW12O40]5- anion is decorated by one [Cu(BIIM)2]2+ cation through one terminal oxygen atom. These components are finally arranged through hydrogen bonds into a twodimensional network. Investigations of the intermolecular interactions by Hirshfeld surface and fingerprint plots indicate that besides the classical N-H···O hydrogen bonds, there are rare W- O(terminal)···π(imidazole ring) interactions stabilizing the structure. A Rare Two-dimensional Network Based on 2,2ʹ-Biimidazole Bridged Double [PW11O39Ni]5– Polyanions

A novel two-dimensional complex based on the mono-vacant Keggin anion [PW11O39]7−, [Ni(BIIM)3]3[{Ni(BIIM)2}2(PNiW11O39)2(BIIM)]・H2O (BIIM = 2,2ʹ-biimidazole), was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental and thermo-gravimetric analysis, IR and UV spectroscopy. Each [PW11O39]7− anion captures an Ni2+ ion forming a [PNiW11O39]5− polyanion, two of which are linked together by a BIIM ligand into a [(PNiW11O39)2(BIIM)]10− polyanion supporting two Ni(BIIM)22+ units through two terminal oxygen atoms and affording a complicated [{Ni(BIIM)2}2(PNiW11O39)2(BIIM)]6− heteropolyanion. Each of these units is further attached to four surrounding equivalent units by their own Ni(BIIM)22+ linkers into a two-dimensional brick wall-like network with (6,3) topology. In the title hydrated molecular salt, C12H14N2+·2C7H4NO4−·2H2O, the complete cation is generated by a crystallographic twofold axis running perpendicular to the central C—C bond. The components give rise to an infinite three-dimensional framework via intermolecular N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds.
