In order to analyze the advantage of using low grade super heated steam to process superfine coal, the experiments are carried out with the self-developed steam flow pulverization system. The results reveal that the temperature of superfine coal from the superheated steam bag filter is lower than 80 ¡æ, which shows that all types of superfine coal can be prepared by low-grade superheated steam. In the condition that the pressure is 0.5MPa, and the temperature is lower than 300¡æ, the power consumption is only 20% that of the air jet mill. It shows low-grade superheated steam can be used to achieve low-cost large-scale superfine coal processing, and also provides a new approach for superfine coal.
