Remote automatic switching and load shedding linkage control scheme

Based on the local information traditional automatic switching develop the appropriate action strategy, and its action logic is fixed and can only accommodate a particular mode of operation. Because, using finite information about the grid makes it often cannot achieve optimal load restoration, even after the load transfer may causing overload, extending the fault, endangering the safety of the power grid. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a remote automatic switching and load shedding linkage control scheme. Based on the realization of the remote automatic switching, reserve capacity information is added to the substation communication. In the implementation of remote automatic switching, automatic switching combine with load shedding to make the load match the reserve capacity limit, to restore the maximized load, and ensure the safety and stability of the power grid, and effectively improve the reliability of power supply.
