Bis-(µ2-oxo)-tetrakis{[1-feniltriazene-1,3-diil)-2-(phenyltriazenil)benzene copper(II) is a tetranuclear complex which shows four Cu(II) ions coordinated by four 1,2-bis(phenyltriazene)benzene bridged ligands, with one diazoaminic deprotonated chain, and two O2- ligands. The complex reduces at E1/2 = -0.95 V vs Fc+/Fc, a two electrons process. Cyclic voltammetric and spectroelectrochemical studies showed a reversible process. When immobilized on carbon paste electrode, the complex electrocatalyses the reduction of O2 dissolved on aqueous solution at -0.3 V vs SCE potential. The obtained current shows linearity with O2 concentration.

American Cutaneous Leishmaniasis (ACL) occurs in the Americas, from the southern United States to northern Argentina, and the incidence of this disease is increasing in Latin America, especially in Brazil.1 According to the Health Ministry (2010), it can be defined as an infectious, non-contagious disease caused by the protozoan of the genus leishmania of vector transmission affecting the skin and mucosa of the individual. Thus, it is primarily a zoonotic infection, which affects other animals, other than man, which can be involved secondarily. The cycle of infection is defined by lesions exclusively on the skin, beginning at the point of inoculation of infective promostigotas through the bite of the vector, any of the species leishmania causingthe disease. The primary lesion is usually unique, although occasional multiple stings of phlebotominae or local dissemination may generate a large number of lesions, which arise after a variable incubation period (from 10 days to three months), such as a progressing erythematous papule slowly to nodule, which with evolution, the notable polymorphism in lesions is highlighted.2 In relation to infection caused by American tegumentary leishmaniasis, the skin tissue and mucous membranes are most commonly affected, the most common manifestations of leishmaniasis ulcer: skin ulcer or in small numbers, with raised edges on frame and with no pain local.3 That other morphological aspects can be identified, such as: [...] infiltrated plaque, tuber, nodules and verrucous vegetative lesion, when the mucosa is damaged, may present erythematous-infiltrated, granular ulcerated appearance. In order of frequency, mucosal lesions are manifested mainly in the nose, hard palate, pharynx and larynx.3

This article aims to identify the prevalence of women who present risk for psychological distress in the pre- and postnatal period. A descriptive, exploratory study was conducted with a quantitative data approach, a study carried out at the pre and postnatal health outpatient clinic of IMIP - Instituto de Medicina Integral Prof. Fernando Figueira, Recife (PE). We used instruments such as the Sociodemographic Data Survey Questionnaire, the Puerperal Pregnancy Cycle Questionnaire Questionnaire, and the Psychiatric Morbidity Questionnaire in Adults (QMPA) with 775 women, of whom 450 were pregnant and 325 were women who had given birth in the period of August / October 2014, After approval of the Ethics and Research Committee (CEP) of IMIP, under the number of CAEE: 30991314.9.0000.5201. The study showed that, in prenatal care, 48% (216) of the cases presented a risk for psychological distress; And in the postnatal period, 47% (152). It was possible to identify psychic suffering in the majority of women, and they often go unnoticed by the professionals who assist them. The knowledge of the risk factors, triggers and symptoms during the pregnancy-puerperal cycle, makes the mental diagnosis more efficient, thus providing a safer and more peaceful pregnancy for mother-child-family.
