The rapid development and wide application of computer networks presents a new challenge to information security and network security. Traditional security models and single security technology cannot keep up with the change of complicated network structure and varied intrusion measures. Network security management based on policy has traits of low management cost, high agility and wide applicability. The mobile agent not only collects but also processes data, overcomes traditional agents shortcomings, improves response and relieves network burden. This paper introduces network security management based on policy and a mobile agent into a new network security framework, and emphases its structure, control strategy and implementation.

This paper discusses the principle and implementation of “file trickling” methodology in order to solve the timeout problem of anti-virus, by analyzing such problems as timeout and data caching based on anti-virus file scanning. The banker algorithm and TCP congestion window control mechanism have been introduced, an optimization algorithm for data caching has been proposed, and finally, a prototype of gateway anti-virus system based on file scanning has been constructed, in order to verify the feasibility of improving performance.

Link Scheduling plays an important role for the performance of TDMA based wireless mesh networks. Traditional algorithms merely aim at maximizing the overall network throughput, which may introduce the scheduling delay. Theoretically the model of relationship between link scheduling with the network throughput and end to end scheduling delay is analyzed. Then, a heuristic algorithm to solve the near optimal scheduling period and scheduling delay for link list with fixed schedule order is proposed. Furthermore, as the performance is much more effected by the scheduling sequence, the link scheduling scheme to sort the overall network link list based on NSGA-II is proposed. By choosing the optimal scheduling sequence, the ratio of the slot spatial reuse is enhanced, thus to increase the network throughput with the overall network scheduling delay is minimized. Simulation results are presented to verify these approaches.
