We study quasi-contraction type non-self-mappings on Takahashi convex metric spaces and common fixed point theorems for a pair of maps. Results generalizing and unifying fixed point theorems of Imdad and Kumar, Das and Naik, Jungck, Ciric, Ume, Khan and Pathak, and Ciric are established.

AbstractWe prove a set of fixed point theorems for mappings with φ-contractive iterate at a point in a class of generalized metric spaces. This is a generalization of some well-known results for Guseman and Matkowski types of fixed point results in metric and generalized metric spaces. MSC:47H10, 54H25.

Main results of this paper are fixed point theorems for mappings with a generalized contractive iterate at a point in G-metric spaces which are generalizations of the well-known results in metric spaces.

We consider quasicontraction nonself-mappings on Takahashi convex metric spaces and common fixed point theorems for a pair of maps. Results generalizing and unifying fixed point theorems of Ivanov, Jungck, Das and Naik, and Ćirić are established.

In this paper, we generalize and unify some results of Sehgal and Guseman, and Cirics theorem for mappings with a generalized contractive iterate at a point to cone metric spaces, in which the cone does not need to be normal. As corollaries, we obtain recent results of Huang and Zhang, and Raja and Vaezpour. Furthermore, we introduce the definition of Fisher quasi-contractions on cone metric spaces and study their properties. Among other things, using new method of proof, we solve the open problem for the interval of contractive constant @l of (Ciric) quasi-contraction in non-normal cone metric spaces, and as sn immediate corollary, we recover the recent result of Rezapour and Hamlbarani.

In this paper the main result is introduction of fuzzy valued probability restricted with respect to probability selectors. In order to treat a highly imprecise probability system, the fuzzy valued probability is defined over the measurable space as a fuzzy valued set function which is not additive in classical sense but it is additive with respect to restricted arithmetics. Some properties and the connection with fuzzy valued measure are discussed. Also, an application in Markov decision process with imprecise information is presented.

The purpose of this paper is to prove some fixed point results for mapping without continuity condition on Takahashi convex metric space as an application of synthetic approaches to fixed point problems of Angrisani and Clavelli. Our results are generalizations in Banach space of fixed point results proved by Kirk and Saliga, 2000; Ahmed and Zeyada, 2010.

A generalized metric in space of set of fuzzy sets is introduced. We prove some common fixed point for contractive iterate at the point and orbitally contractive at the point fuzzy mappings and subfixed point results for family of mappings satisfying generalized contractive conditions in generalized metric fuzzy spaces.
