Between the First and Second World Wars, Buenos Aires went through a series of physical, social and cultural changes, forming a definitive stage in the city’s evolution. This stage bridged two other better-known historical moments: the spectacular growth of the late nineteenth century, and the urban transformation of the city of Peronist masses.
