This text is about Jornal Boca de Rua, a periodical made by homeless people of Porto Alegre. Its aim is to establish a relation between the subversive position of these people and the logic of contemporary capitalism in three different ways - urban space, media and consumption -, working on the details, implications, ambiguities and commenting on the partial results. Spatial resistance is seen as a way the homeless inhabit the city, either as an inhabitant or as a salesperson, which means reinventing valueless empty spaces of the city. Media resistance is characterized by the construction of an alternative diffusive medium from that of mass-media, giving the opportunity for this group to publish their works and placing them in spaces never imagined before. Consumption resistance, finally, becomes possible when the homeless render services instead of begging, offering other ways for them to be included in the web of contemporary society.

This paper discusses a research at an old factory of the metallurgy field that became a cooperative after it has crashed. Questions and problems about self-management are brought to be debated, including its implications. Trough field work we composed registers with interviews and observations and traced cartography of the flows of the cooperative. We perceived that the instruments that ordered bodies and gestures had been made less hard but the way of work of the factory still there. Using this we could understand self-management as a “Boundary Phenomenon” between the capitalist logic and the welfare-state logic, exploring the capturing points and the disjointing points between those systems.

This article proposes to build a concept of immanent and paradoxical nature that gives sustenance to the practices of the social psychology of denaturalization of social configurations. From the problematization of the nature in fundamental authors in western philosophy, Aristotle and Rousseau, a new concept of an unnatural nature is created, free from the essentialistic and totalizing representations of classical and enlightened humanism. Affirming further possibility of man and humanity beyond the closing of his/her own ideal and analytical representation, the concept of nature here erected prevent the practice of emptying in denaturalization slogan, to provide for this practice a-epistemic suitable substrate onto their disproportionate to the human. Then it opens up the possibility of operating fluid concepts such as subjectivity instead of becoming an identity and status.

This article aims to analyze the practices of exception in contemporaneity. We are interested in examining the scenario in which the biopolitic life is arrested in the frame of law, in the transversality of powers, constituting ultimately the bare life. We will take the early organization of asylums in Brazil and the Nazi concentration camps as emblems of this issue, in order to analyze the formation of these fascist practices of exception in modernity and its ruptures as well as its continuity in contemporaneity. Microfascism in us - practices of exception in contemporaneity - refers to our current attitudes that may lead to situations in which the other, as difference, is seen as a threat and therefore avoided. We do not enclosure the other within limiting walls, but we disregard him and do not let our daily lives be affected by him. Using the concept of an immanent life can help us overcome the microfascist transcendences of todays fragmentary states of exception, and discuss the field of human rights, not to dissolve it, but to open it to the indeterminacy of events.

In this essay, we want to make an effort to reinvent ours domestic lives beyond the disciplinary and control strategies. Whit the heterotopia of an infamy life, we proposes an eventualization of ours domestic’s archives.

The article proposes a new perspective on the role of image in the production of knowledge, particularly with respect to the humanities. In the scientific modernity, image was regarded as an entity of imperfect ontology. Nowadays images have acquired a new importance: they have become our chief means of expression and communication, apart from their important role in research strategies. On the other hand, the production of knowledge through experimental and poetic images is still taboo in academia. Against such notion, many artists and thinkers have created a new way of conceiving the relations between images and science: the image is real and immanent to our world, since both are nothing more than action. The poetic image produces a large variety of transformations in our ways of seeing the world, resulting in an interesting research strategy.

Through this work we intend to give the Psychiatric Hospital Sao Pedro (Porto Alegre, Brazil) historical building genealogy some visibility. The questioning related to the present madness space intrigues and encourages us: what has been done and what is being done about one of the buildings that has housed the mad people of Porto Alegre for over a century? What space has housed and what will house the mad people in the city from now on?
