Department of defence architecture framework(DoDAF) is an important method to ensure the quality of system design. One way for DoD architecture validation and assess is to transform the DoD architecture products into executable models, then the performance of DoD architecture can be tested through analyzing model execution process and result. Based on the different advantage of UML(unified modelling language) and Petri nets, the paper applies some kinds of views in UML to describe the relative DoD architecture products. Considering the relationship among the products, the UML views for products are transformed into ECPN (extended colored Petri nets) simulation models according to the transformation rules. So the dynamic behavior of system can be displayed by those simulation model, and whether the time-order relation, information flow and system interface is reasonable, or the system function satisfies the military requirement , and the change of system state is correct, can be checked evidently. At last, the paper gives a case in the air defense system using simulation validation method proposed by it.

Ballistic midcourse maneuverable targets bring huge challenge to early-warning detecting tasks. The incoming threats targets could be lost in detection range of sensors and early-warning detecting tasks may be failure, which retard the response of a ballistic missile defense system and the criticality of missiles would be increased. How can the Space-based early warning system detect and track the ballistic midcourse maneuverable targets in real-time is a new issue. In this paper, a early-warning detecting tasks re-scheduling and sensor resources allocation strategy based on multi-levels is designed, sensor resources allocation rapidly come true and satisfied the dynamics and real-time tracking requirements of detecting tasks, as well as the fewer adjusting amplitude to originally resources scheme. Finally, taking the space-based early-warning detecting task of maneuverable ballistic missile for example, by which the feasibility and efficiency of the strategy are explained and proved.

The complexity of information system architecture is a key factor which impresses the development of information system. Firstly, the features of systems interface description are analyzed, which is a product of system view of DoD Architecture Framework, then based on the product of systems interface description, the fundamental models of systems and interfaces are established. According to the basic structure of systems and interfaces, the entropy-based complexity analysis method on architecture of information system is provided in the paper. Finally, a concrete example is given to expatiate on the method.

The original information system architecture Framework provides an integration mechanism of information system resources to support a specific operational mission, but it is difficult to describe and analyze the dynamic integration process of the information system resources to support the dynamic adjustment of operational mission in the future complex, changeable environment. This paper presents the modeling approach of the service view product, and focus on the evolution method of service view products to support the dynamic integration process of the information system resources.

In order to specify the information systems architecture modeling visualization and ensure the flexibility in selecting the modeling style, this paper proposed the method of notation meta-modeling. Based on concepts and theory of architecture notation meta-modeling, we designed the process of architecture notation meta-modeling. We also studied the method of building architecture meta-meta-models, and divided architecture meta-meta-model into primitive graphic meta-element components and domain graphic meta-element components. The case study illustrated the process of architecture notation meta-modeling, and validated the method of proposed notation meta-modeling.
