As immersed virtual maintenance simulation system was built by integrating ShapeWarp Human Motion Capture System and DELMIA, the motion information of man in actual world can be transferred to the manikin in the virtual environment of DELMIA. Based on the study of data transform arithmetic in the paper, the manipulation of manikin in DELMIA by motion capture is realized through Automation Technology which is secondary developing technology within DELMIA.

The maintenance works of products are so heavy that they have to be considered as one of the most important work in the designing phase of products. This paper classifies the human factors requirement in the repair processes of products. The evaluation methods and the requirements of the human factors in maintainability design are studied. This paper details those factors to make them could be assessed conveniently by using ergonomics theory. A human-factor evaluation method for maintainability design with the VR-based environment is presented. By using the VR-based environment, the evaluation could be developed at the preliminary design of products.

On the basis of traditional maintainability design factors, such as visibility and accessibility, virtual maintenance evaluation indexes of satellite assembly and troubleshooting is built, through analyzing the satellite assembly and troubleshooting process and requirements. On the research of special operations of satellite assembly and troubleshooting affect the maintenance, the evaluation criterion of satellite virtual assembly and troubleshooting is built by considering the factual situations of satellite assembly and troubleshooting. Using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) as the evaluation method, the assessment system of virtual maintenance-based satellite assembly and troubleshooting is constructed. By using the virtual maintenance-based assessment methodology posed above, corresponding evaluation result is given for the central controller maintenance troubleshooting simulation case, which provides a practical application for the evaluation methodology.

Based on the layered structure of shipboard electromechanical systems, a hierarchical prognostic and health management system structure has been established according to OSA-CBM specification. Then logic and data flow analysis has been down for every layer of the system including decision generation, prognostic assessment, health assessment, state dection, data processing and data acquisition. After that, the system has been modeling by several data processers, D&HA (for diagonostic and health assessment) modules and a HA(health management) module. Finally, the shipboard electromechanical platform PHM simulation environment is built up to analysis the target of modules.

With the rapid development of computer technology, Virtual Reality (VR) technology becomes more and more widely used in fields related to maintenance work. In this article, the composition and technical characteristics of VR technology is introduced, the development history and research background of VR technology is reviewed, and application status of VR system is analyzed. The application of using VR technology in equipment maintenance work, especially in the work of maintenance designing and analysis, is emphasized on in this paper, and the application prospects of VR technology are discussed.

This paper analyses the characters of collected data from motion capture system. Afterwards, according to the movement principle of virtual human model in motion capture system and DELMIA, we provide a method to make it feasible for data reuse in virtual reality environment, and furthermore, some depiction will be given to show the application in different areas in brief.
