Traditional methods of teaching entrepreneurship in universities involves more theoretical approaches which are less effective in motivating considerations for an entrepreneurship career. This owes to the fact that such techniques essentially make students develop a dormant attitude rather than active participation. Expert views suggest that experiential entrepreneurship teaching methods in universities which involve practical activities and active participation can be considered salient to students’ development of entrepreneurial interest an business startup potentials. This present study presents data on the extent to which experiential teaching methods in entrepreneurship adopted by Nigerian universities stimulate students’ entrepreneurial interest and business startups. Data have been gathered following a descriptive cross-sectional quantitative survey conducted among university students (N = 600) of four selected institutions in Nigeria offering a degree programme in entrepreneurship. Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis was used in confirming the hypothesis proposed in the study using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.The findings from the analysis showed that the adoption of experiential practical activities considered as best practices in entrepreneurship teaching in Nigerian universities can stimulate students’ interest and drive for engaging in business start-up activities even as undergraduates. The field data set is made extensively available to allow for critical investigation.

The main objective of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the teaching methods adopted in motivating university students’ in Nigeria to engage in product innovation. Emphasis was laid on Covenant University in Nigeria which is the pioneer institution to offer entrepreneurship education in Nigeria. The study adopted quantitative method with a descriptive research design to establish trends related to the objective of the study. Survey was be used as quantitative research method. The population of this study comprised all students in the selected university which was given as 6401 3. A sample size of 377 students was selected using yards formula. Reliability and validity were confirmed. Data was analyzed with the use of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).Regression analysis was used as statistical tool of analysis. The field data set is made publicly available to enable critical or a more extensive inquiry.

Entrepreneurs are individuals who have a constant feeling of desperation that is from time to time seen in organizations. While the number of entrepreneurship education programmes are increasing, their impact is under-researched and studies paint an unclear picture of the impact of entrepreneurship education. This present study presents data on the extent to which university entrepreneurship education programmes stimulate the entrepreneurial performance of aspiring entrepreneurs in Nigeria. Data was collected using a descriptive cross-sectional quantitative survey conducted among university students (N = 540) of selected institutions in Nigeria. Regression Analysis was used in confirming the hypotheses proposed in the study using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22. University entrepreneurship education is confirmed to be a major source of inspirational triggers that positively impact on entrepreneurial performance of aspiring entrepreneurs in the selected universities in Nigeria. The field data set is made widely accessible to allow for critical inquiry.

This study considered the concise adoption of generic business strategies in the accomplishment of corporate mission in multinational firms in Nigeria. Several attributes based on the resource and competence-based theories and models informed the nature of the study. Quantitative explanatory cross-sectional design was adopted using primarily the structured instrument designed on a 5-point Likert scale. Probability and non-probability sampling techniques were engaged in sampling 275 respondents from the multinational firms.The data obtained were analyzed using both descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The findings revealed that the generic business strategies have signify cant predictors of corporate mission accomplishment. Findings also revealed that there was positive significant influence between concise generic business strategies and firms’ productivity.This paper recommended a mandatory and thorough environmental scanning in order to select the appropriate business stratagem to be implemented in achieving the precise aspects of the corporate mission.

The imperativeness of strategic alignment in attaining organizational objectives have become critical in this contemporary business age. The study examined the role of Business Strategy on Mission Accomplishment of Manufacturing companies with a major focus on mission statements of two multi-national companies in Nigeria. Probability and non probability sampling techniques were adopted. In the first stage, the two multinational companies were purposively selected among the list of registered manufacturing companies while in the second stage, a simple random sampling procedure was employed to draw participants from the organizations. A total sample of 384 participants was planned by the sampling procedure, however, only 291 participants were successfully interviewed. From the analysis, it was asserted that the employment of business strategy enhances organizational mission irrespective of the type, ownership, management and size of the organization. In addition, there is need for a thorough environmental scanning in order to select the appropriate business strategy to be adopted in accomplishing the specific aspect of the organizations mission.
