Laser threshold and recombination in Pb1−xSnxTe AND PbS1−xSex

The temperature dependence of the laser threshold in lead salt heterostructures has been calculated for arbitrary degeneracy of equilibrium and non-equilibrium carriers within the active medium. Radiative recombination, Auger recombination and linear recombination are taken into account.
