QCD Sum Rules Applications to the J/ψ Dissociation

We use the QCD sum rules to evaluate the D* Dπ and DDρ form factors as well as the J/ψ π → D D*, D D*, D* D* and D D cross sections. The form factors are evaluated as a function of the momentum Q2 of the D meson and the light meson and the cross sections as a function of S.

Charmonium‐Pion Cross Section from QCD Sum Rules

The J/ψ π → D D*, D D*, D* D* and D D cross sections as a function of S are evaluated in a QCD sum rule calculation. We find that our results are smaller than the J/ψ π → charmed mesons cross sections obtained with models based on meson exchange, but are close to those obtained with quark exchange models.
