Metamagnetic Behavior in NdCu6

We have found metamagnetic behavior of orthorhombic single crystals NdCu 6 . Magnetization curve in the field along the b -axis shows four steps, whereas that along the c -axis suggests a canted spin structure. These results suggest the existence of four canted sublattices.

Fermi surface and cyclotron mass of PrB6

Abstract The Fermi surface of antiferromagnetic PrB 6 determined by the de Haas-van Alphen measurement is almost the same as that of LaB 6 , although there exist some problems concerning to the two branches which correspond to the orbits of the interconnecting necks between the ellipsoids.

de Haas-van Alphen Study of LaCu6 and PrCu6

de Haas-van Alphen oscillations have been found in LaCu 6 and PrCu 6 which are the reference materials of the Kondo lattice substance CeCu 6 . The Fermi surface and the cyclotron effective mass of PrCu 6 are almost the same as those of LaCu 6 .

4f Hybridization in the Cyclotron Mass of PrB6 and PrCu6

Hybldlzatlon effects of the 4f electrons with the conduction electrons in PrB5 and PrCu6 are reflected in the Fermi surface and the cyclotron mass determined from the de Haas-van Alphen effect. The masses of PrB6 and PrCu6 are three times and twice larger than those of LaB6 and LaCu6, respectively.
