LUBRICITY OF THERMO-OXIDIZED ENGINE OILS

Josef Posta; B. Peterka; Zdenek Ales; M. Pexa; Jindrich Pavlu; Hien Vutan

Severe temperature load of engine oils effects their relatively rapid thermo-oxidation. Some types of combustion engines cause, a particularly high permanent temperature load of engine oil. Gas combustion engines of cogeneration units of biogas plants are also operated in a similar way. These combustion engines operate for long periods at full load and constant speed. Biogas produced by fermentation of waste organic materials is used as a fuel. Intensity of degradation of engine oil is caused most often by high and long-term temperature load, total number of wear particles and contamination of combustion products. Content of combustion products depend on the individual content of crude biogas.

Notice of Retraction Degradation process influencing safety of constructional adhesive bonds

Miroslav Müller; Petr Valášek; M. Pexa; Tomáš Hladík; Zdeněk Aleš; Václav Legát

Undesirable degradation processes affect the constructional adhesive bonds, which gradually deteriorate the adhesive bond parameters. This fact manifests the topicality of given problems with simultaneous noting of the increasing trend of using the adhesive bonding technology. The presumption or prospective elimination of threatened marginal states depends on the understanding of the process causing this state. The aim of the experiment is to study and experimentally verify the degradation processes that influence running in the adhesive bonds. Furthermore, based on statistical methods ANOVA, an influence agreement of single liquid contaminants types based on industrial and mineral fertilizers needs to be determined.
