In Mobile Ad Hoc Network MANET, every neighbouring node is likely to have similar interests and need to access the similar data at different times. So, by caching the frequently accessed data item within MANET, it is possible to reduce the cost of accessing the same data from the external source. In this perspective, an effective data cache mechanism is proposed by Paul et al., using the distributed spanning tree as a communication structure to lessen network overload. As an enhancement, ant colony optimisation technique has been applied on DST to cope with the fragile nature of the MANET. In this paper, a theoretical model has been formulated to assess the performance factors such as cooperative cache, mobility and hand-off and routing technique. In addition to these, the performance improvement of DCM in MANET has been proved experimentally using cache hit and data consistency using appropriate simulation.

Cloud computing has rapidly gained the popularity of researchers, government organizations and industries in recent years. It uses virtualization technology to provide computing resources to the customers as accessible public utility services. Since it uses virtualized resources, scheduling and resource allocation are the important research topics in the cloud computing. To make use of the capabilities of cloud, efficient scheduling policies are required to minimize the execution cost and to increase the resource utilization. This paper gives an overview of the existing scheduling policies in cloud computing systems. Also gives an analysis and comparison among different scheduling algorithms. General Terms

This paper presents the brief survey about the existing approaches in web services composition. The main research areas in web services are related to security, quality of service and composition. Among all these areas, web services composition turns out to be a challenging one, because it supports business-to-business or enterprise application integration. It provides an effective solution to complex web application. In recent days with the emergence of semantic web the scope for semantic based web services composition increases as it provides better results compared to the traditional method of discovering candidate services for composition. Along with the semantics the nature of composition .Also needs to be dynamic as the web services and its parameters are changing frequently.

Technical evolution has been improved day-by-day in web services. Service provider has provided several monumental changes to fulfill the requirement of service requester. Generally these services are provided through functional and non-functional Quality of Service (QoS). Most of these models lack unique factors like selection, ranking and other QoS parameters. The proposed system describes the Web Service Descriptive Model with QoS information called (WSDM-Q) and the architecture designed using Service Level Agreement (SLA) based Web Service Selection and Ranking with Quality of Service (QoS) called (SLAWSSR-Q). The proposed service selection algorithm is based on the basic QoS requirements of the user. It also fulfills the service requesters preferred QoS requirements of web services. The Performance of proposed architecture outperforms with respect functional and non-functional and SLA based web services.

Accurate effort estimation is the state of art of the Software Engineering activities and of course it is a complex process. On the other hand, it is also widely accepted that due to the inherent uncertainty in software development requirements and activities, it is unrealistic to expect very accurate effort estimates over the software development processes. Among the diversified effort estimation models, empirical estimation models are found to be possibly accurate compared to other estimation schemes. The work reported in this paper aims at improving the accuracy of one of the popular effort estimation models, COCOMO II. Since the accuracy of the COCOMO II stands over the cost derives and scale factor, this work investigates the influence of the cost drives and scale factor to improve the accuracy of the effort estimation. It is proved that, with a set of possible modifications in scale factor and cost drives, the overall accuracy of the COCOMO II can be improved. The improvement has been proved in terms of the performance validation factors such as Magnitude of Relative Error (MRE), Mean Magnitude of Relative Error (MMRE), Root Mean Square (RMS) and Relative Root Mean Square (RMS & RRMS).

Currently on web, services are being created and utilized at the drop of a hat. Due to the growing number of services over the web, use of native techniques to obtain the most desired web services is becoming archaic. So, to enhance the horizons of web service discovery platforms, in the current paper we coupled Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) with Event Driven Architecture (EDA) so as to make web service discovery more time and cost efficient. Also, we introduce Bi-matchmaking technique based on Ontologies over Event Driven Service Oriented Architecture (EDSOA) which is conducive to automated and proficient discovery of web services in time critical business processes and also to face the future Internet trend.
