Neutral kaon pairs produced in phi decays in anti-symmetric entangled state can be exploited to search for violation of CPT symmetry and Lorentz invariance. We present an analysis of the CP-violating process phi -> KSKL -> pi(+)pi(-)pi(+)pi(-) based on 1.7 fb(-1) of data collected by the KLOE experiment at the Frascati phi-factory DA Phi NE. The data are used to perform a Measurement of the CPT-violating parameters Delta a(mu) for neutral kaons in the context of the Standard Model Extension framework. The parameters measured in the reference frame of the fixed stars are: Delta a(0) = (-6.0 +/- 7.7(stat)+/- 3.1(syst)) X 10(-18) GeV, Delta a(x) = (0.9 +/- 1.5(stat)+/- 0.6(syst)) X 10(-18) GeV, Delta a(y) = (-2.0 +/- 1.5(stat)+/- 0.5(syst)) X 10(-18) GeV, Delta a(z) = (3.1 +/- 1.7(stat)+/- 0.5(syst)) X 10(-18) GeV. These are presently the most precise measurements in the quark sector of the Standard Model Extension

Abstract Exclusive measurements of the reactions p d → He 3 π + π − and p d → He 3 π 0 π 0 have been carried out at T p = 0.893 GeV at the CELSIUS storage ring using the WASA detector. The π + π − channel evidences a pronounced enhancement at low invariant ππ masses—as anticipated from previous inclusive measurements of the ABC effect. This enhancement is seen to be even much larger in the isoscalar π 0 π 0 channel. The differential distributions prove this enhancement to be of scalar–isoscalar nature. ΔΔ calculations give a good description of the data, if a boundstate condition is imposed for the intermediate ΔΔ system.

The CELSIUS-WASA setup is used to measure the 3π0 decay of η mesons produced in pp interactions with beam kinetic energies of 1.36 and 1.45 GeV. The efficiency-corrected Dalitz plot and density distributions for this decay are shown, together with a fit of the quadratic slope parameter α yielding α = −0.026 ± 0.010(stat) ± 0.010(syst). This value is compared to recent experimental results and theoretical predictions.

Abstract A measurement of the vector to pseudoscalar conversion decay ϕ → π 0 e + e − with the KLOE experiment is presented. A sample of ∼9500 signal events was selected from a data set of 1.7 fb −1 of e + e − collisions at s ∼ m ϕ collected at the DAΦNE e + e − collider. These events were used to perform the first measurement of the transition form factor | F ϕ π 0 ( q 2 ) | and a new measurement of the branching ratio of the decay: BR ( ϕ → π 0 e + e − ) = ( 1.35 ± 0.05 − 0.10 + 0.05 ) × 10 − 5 . The result improves significantly on previous measurements and is in agreement with theoretical predictions.

We have carried out a new direct search for the CP violating decay K-S -> 3 pi(0) with 1.7 fb(-1) of e(+)e(-) collisions collected by the KLOE detector at the Phi-factory DA Phi NE. We have searched for this decay in a sample of about 5.9 x 10(8) KSKL events tagging the K-S by means of the K-L interaction in the calorimeter and requiring six prompt photons. With respect to our previous search, the analysis has been improved by increasing of a factor four the tagged sample and by a more effective background rejection of fake K-S tags and spurious clusters. We find no candidates in data and simulated background samples, while we expect 0.12 standard model events. Normalizing to the number of K-S -> 2 pi(0) events in the same sample, we set the upper limit on BR(K-S -> 3 pi(0)) <= 2.6 x 10(-8) at 90% C.L., five times lower than the previous limit. We also set the upper limit on the eta(000) parameter, vertical bar eta(000)vertical bar <= 0.0088 at 90% C.L., improving by a factor two the latest direct measurement. (c) 2013 Elsevier B.V. A bstractUsing 1.6 fb−1 of e+e− → ϕ → ηγ data collected with the KLOE detector at DAΦNE, the Dalitz plot distribution for the η → π+π−π0 decay is studied with the world’s largest sample of ∼ 4.7 · 106 events. The Dalitz plot density is parametrized as a polynomial expansion up to cubic terms in the normalized dimensionless variables X and Y . The experiment is sensitive to all charge conjugation conserving terms of the expansion, including a gX2Y term. The statistical uncertainty of all parameters is improved by a factor two with respect to earlier measurements.

The search for 4He-eta bound states was performed with the WASA-at-COSY facility via the measurement of the excitation function for the dd->3He n pi0 and dd->3He p pi- processes. The beam momentum was varied continuously between 2.127 GeV/c and 2.422 GeV/c, corresponding to the excess energy for the dd->4He eta reaction ranging from Q=-70 MeV to Q=30 MeV. The luminosity was determined based on the dd->3He n reaction and quasi-free proton-proton scattering via dd->pp n_spectator n_spectator reactions. The excitation functions determined independently for the measured reactions do not reveal a structure which could be interpreted as a narrow mesic nucleus. Therefore, the upper limits of the total cross sections for the bound state production and decay in dd->(4He-eta)_bound->3He n pi0 and dd->(4He-eta)_bound->3He p pi- processes were determined taking into account the isospin relation between both the channels considered. The results of the analysis depend on the assumptions of the N* momentum distribution in the anticipated mesic-4He. Assuming as in the previous works, that this is identical with the distribution of nucleons bound with 20 MeV in 4He, we determined that (for the mesic bound state width in the range from 5 MeV to 50 MeV) the upper limits at 90% confidence level are about 3 nb and about 6 nb for npi0 and ppi- channels, respectively. However, based on the recent theoretical findings of the N*(1535) momentum distribution in the N*-3He nucleus bound by 3.6 MeV, we find that the WASA-at-COSY detector acceptance decreases and hence the corresponding upper limits are 5 nb and 10 nb for npi0 and ppi- channels respectively.
